so there's a lot of great ideas here, particularly for the faces and hair, but i think for clothes, there's still some work to be done. i think for sonic's outfit, i think his silhouette is off; i feel like he should be "round" or maybe "oval" in his shape language, both as a nod to his spindash, but also in shape language, circles are seen as "friendly", and what's a speedy circle? an oval. like, if sonic is about "going fast," then his outfit should reflect that, no? the hoodie would actually make him go slower (aerodynamics) so maybe a cropped compression tee and tight running shorts, all covered but a big windbreaker jacket (the implication being he loses the jacket before racing whoever's challenging him) that gives him that oval shape in silhouette. i do like the leg warmers and shoes, and his accessories; absolutely keep those. also, i would change his posing to be more loose/laid back; like he's just kinda naturally slouching back and loose in his body language, to give that air of natural, DGAF coolness that 90% of people wish they could achieve. (it would also lay a lot of ground work for shadow's potential design later on; like where sonic is bulky rounder shapes and open body language, shadow is tight, square shapes, and more rigid posture; food for thought) your knuckles is...nearly perfect, but there were some ideas that worked better in the first design. the crest-thing, for one works much better on the beanie than as a necklace, just cause it kinda makes it look like nike--or that universe's equivalent of--which you do tend to see a lot of POC, particularly men, wearing name-brands like that. like, i think what would balance it out would be to put the same crest on the shoes as well, and possibly change the color of the shoes. like, red shoes, orange shoes, or lime-green shoes are all kinda cool, but red AND orange AND lime-green shoes? you're veering into clown territory. last note is the jacket tied around his waist: i think it's unnecessary. i would make the compression tee and shoes the same green color, as well as add some green piping on the pants, and just get rid of the jacket. and finally, i liked the aviator jacket for tails? i personally would've used the type that has the fluffy collar (like WW2 style aviators instead of the more modern, sleek aviators) but i do agree that the preppy, sweater-vest/collared shirt combo makes sense for him too, so...idk, six of one, half a dozen of the other. i don't think there's a wrong answer here, and arguably you could throw him into a mechanic's shirt and overalls, and it would still work. tails wears a lot of hats in the canon, so he's actually really hard to get "wrong." but these are all just what i think. overall, i think you've got some really solid ideas.

People who know of the "Mary Garnet" Sonic origin story will know how much time you've wasted on Sonic, since Sonic was always a human. As for what you've drawn here, they look well made, even if this isn't what I'm into.

This is the first video of yours that I’ve seen, and wow! You’re such an amazing artist!! Your designs are really cool and they really capture their personalities very well, and I love how vibrant your coloring is! At the end of the video you asked for some feedback, and I actually had a few suggestions for the final piece. I’m not a professional by any means tho, so my opinions should be taken with a grain of salt! Firstly, I love the pose you used for Sonic, but Tails and Knuckles kinda look randomly tacked on. It would be cool to maybe add more of a story to it! One idea I had to create more of a dynamic between the characters was to have it look like Tails is taking a sudden selfie of the three of them. Maybe Sonic was in the middle of eating his chili dog and had some chili left on his face, but bc of his carefree spirit he poses for the photo anyways, and then you could have Knuckles giving Sonic a bit of a judgmental look bc of this. That’s just one idea, but I think adding an interaction like this between the three characters could showcase more of their personalities and their relationships with each other! Another small thing I noticed was the light source. If you look at the rings in the background, their shadows suggest multiple light sources, but considering the setting is outside, the assumed light source is most likely the sun. If that’s the case, then the shadows should all be going in the same direction. I also noticed that both Sonic and Knuckles have some rim lighting, but it’s lacking on Tails, which doesn’t make him pop out as much as the other two. Wanna reiterate that I am NOT a professional at all, these are just some art tips I picked up from a few classes and watching art youtubers for the past 10 years lol. It’s always so much fun to see how an artist does their own spin on these iconic characters. Once again, you’re an amazing artist, and I hope to see more humanized Sonic character designs from you! :D

I made a huge ahh comment but it got deleted 😔 Guess I'll just type everything again cuz I'm annoying hehe. First: My favorite design of all is Knuckles!! Which is even nicer cuz I really like him >< Second: My only beef is - I can't see Sonic wearing leg warmers at all XD I mean, if he's a runner or a skater or whatever, I'd give him something more fresh and sportive, but maybe Your character is different! I also liked the color pallet and the golden chain belt that resembles the game rings (wise choice!). Last but not least: When it comes to Tails, I think the school boy aesthetic really suits his personality, as for his... Well, *tails*, I'm thinking of making my own version and implement it through the hair shape! (Obviously not pigtails - that'd be horrible XD) Kinda following a Inkay-Like shape, You know, the Pokemon. Nonetheless, nice work! :)

Lots of people could easily watch 5 different videos with that concept and stay interested in the results. That's why DTIYS is a thing!
