3:51 at this point, he only drove 98 laps right? Because he didn't finished the 50th lap and the 100th lap. In order to drive all the 500 laps, he has to complete also the lap at the end of every stint to complete it. Please tell me I'm right with my thoughts

You're right! He never completes lap 50, which means he actually drove 490 laps instead of 500 laps.
