Reminder that Childe fought the narwhal for most of Acts 3, 4 and up to the start of Act 5, which was stated to be about 45 days. Unless time moves at different speeds in the Primordial Sea, the guy was fighting, without his vision, for multiple weeks. He's far from the strongest thing we've met, but he's a harbinger for a reason.

Honestly I maybe of the minority 'cause I felt more for Focalors than for Furina. NGL I wonder if ZL and Venti actually have something cooking behind the scenes. We still don't know what contract that ZL and Tsaritsa made for one. I wouldn't be surprise if it's about bringing Celestia down or returning the dragon sovereigns' power. Like we all know the dragons are living in co existence with the humans. And I strongly believe Azhdaha is one of the other sovereign seeing that Neuvillette mentioned we met other sovereigns, not just Apep.

No correlation between the Ordo and Furina was shown or hinted at during Narzissenkreuz Quest. An unexpected present for New Year! On the topic of Sigewinne: she's almost definitely a complete Melusine, not a child of one with a human (ew). She is said to be an older Melusine in one of the quests actually (I can't present you with a proof for this one - I'm too lazy, so disregard it if you want). As far as we know, Melusines can't reproduce. All of them were born as a result of an explosion in the body of Elynas the Abyss Monster (that's why they regard Elynas as their Father & Mother). Mechanical parts from the exploded Clockwork Meka were embedded in the flesh of Elynas, and from these wounds Melusines were born. As a result, all Melusines have a "token" - the mechanical part by which they were born. One of the theories as to why Sigewinne has a more "human" physique is this: unlike other Melusines, the wound from which she was born was not caused by a mechanical part, but by a human bone (I personally think it could even be Alain Guillotin's bone, but that's just a headcanon so ignore it) Well, that was way too long, but to anyone who's come this far: Happy New Year!

Neuvillette has been around for at least 500 years but it's likely longer as he had time to grow into an adult human form before coming to fontaine. Alaine was still alive back then as Neuvillette has memories of the incident that took place inside Elynas.

@@SnowxXxAngel there's a Worldquest called "Ancient Colours", which starts when you help a Melusine called Mamere on the surface of Elynas. This quest and quests that follow has a lot, and I mean that, of lore. But this one specifically explains the origin of Elynas. If you don't want to do it or already did and didn't pay attention, here's the info on Elynas: Spoilers for the Worldquest mentioned before: Elynas is an Abyss Monster who was released into Fontaine during the invasion from Khaenri'ah/Abyss 500 years ago. He was created by a "Mother" who is heavily hinted to be Rhinedottir/Gold. He turned out to be an actuality nice person, which is quite sad. He didn't realise that his appearance in Fontaine caused a lot of people suffering and death, as he was just playing and wanted to make friends (like Durin). But when he realised that, he was greatly saddened. After he "died" he was still conscious, and when Melusines were born a few decades later, he raised them and taught them. Elynas loves his daughters very much, so when Jacob tried to resurrect him, which would've destroyed the home of Melusines (Merusea Village inside of Elynas), he decided to stay dead. Also, if Elynas does turn out to be a creation of Rhinedottir (which he almost definitely will), then this would make all the Melusines Albedo's nieces

During Furina's Scene x flashbacks, I did the maths and found out that each scene likely was a day, with the last scene with the traveler being around the equivalent of around 500 years of scenes, which lines up with what we're told. 3:12:41 This day got me tearing up when I played through the quest myself. I can somewhat relate to having to act with a mask on with everyone, not ever being able to relax and show your true self. It's exhausting! I can only imagine how much worse it'd be doing it for hundreds of years. You don't really feel like you ever have any true friends.

This entire Archon quest was pretty awesome, it was a lot of dialogue but i think its the best one so far, my only complaint is how it sort of felt as though Furina got shorted because you don't talk to her at all afterwards, and in order to get a sort of "Closure" on Furina's part you have to do her story quest. Btw- would love it if you would do a video for Furina's Story Quest.

Jeikage I'm not entirely sure if your aware of this but there is a Melusine World Quest that piggybacks and links off the Act V completing both is kind of mandantory to fully get the entire picture of whats going on. Also it explains what happened to the Missing Mural in the Ruins.

However s the sinthe used in the missing persons case was created for the specific purpose of dissolving fontainians immediately. Primordial sea water in lower concentrations don’t have that effect otherwise navia who was exposed to PS in this act as well as freminat and clorande who was exposed to it in the last act wouldn’t be here.

Sinthe is the diluted version, and causes a euphoric feeling.... concentrated/pure primordial sea water will dissolve people. They don't alter the Primordial Seawater to dissolve people, just to create the drug Sinthe.

We later got confirmation that "???" was Nicole during the Hexenzirkel (Windblume) event, where Alice teased that Nicole liked to guide people toward the truth after a "change" has occurred in the world (referring to our shenanigans with Irminsul). Traveler immediately connected the dots too.

Everything about Furina’s trial legitimately hurt me. I knew something was seriously wrong the moment she got frantic. It’s no wonder why she gave up and accepted her death sentence. If I were in her shoes, I probably would’ve done the same thing. (Mind you, that was before we learned the truth about her history) I mean, even before the trial, she thought that she finally found a confident, only for them to betray her, and actively work against her! After everything that happened, I would’ve left Fontaine and never set foot in that nation again. (Or leave it for a little while at the very least) Just to be clear, I understand that we needed answers, and I hate the "just trust, and obey" mindset as much as anyone. But there had to be a better way.
