I think it’s pretty obvious why Atreus doesn’t think his dad’s strength and abilities are weird. It’s said in game by Atreus that he felt like he would “never leave their woods or even his own bed sometimes.” Because of his sickness, he was not allowed to venture much further than their immediate woods around their house and sometimes couldn’t even leave his bed. So if your entire life was spent like that, only interacting with your mother and father, why would you think it was weird or unusual if your dad was super strong? And his mother made an entire protective barrier around a huge woodland area, safe to say her level of strength isn’t “average.” So He has no point of reference for how strong a normal human is supposed to be.

I’m a veteran that became a contractor , and while I was gone my son grew up , came back for a year to leave again for work , I was in Afghanistan from 2016 to 2021 my son is 7 now and I won’t lie this game help me getting through the days since it came out in 2018, as a father that struggled to connect this game help me I can’t explained ,but it did .

The only thing I really miss is that they did not implement the ability to pin enemies to the wall by throwing the axe. Most likely due to many enemies to animate

I remember this game having a lot of optional content. I don't know why that's the first thought that came to mind when I saw you upload this game but I remember having like 80% of the content of this game played and a hell of a lot of it was just pure optional gameplay that you would have never encountered if you didn't explore or wanted to grind for better equipment or saw a few videos for secrets. Anyway I'm glad that you played it, I remember enjoying it quite a lot. I'm definitely excited for the sequel

I just love the fact while Kratos was in the World's Largest Flashlight, BOY went on a killing spree worthy to be called the son of Kratos as he held the line, ALONE, and made functional barricades to give himself cover too shoot from when he wasn't ripping them apart with the Axe. I wish this was a moment where we could get a new function with throwing our Axe's by letting Boy use it in melee when we are using bare knuckles and the Blades of Chaos. Just so we can see what he was doing with the thing.

the maze isn't truly a maze, it has four main sections and two challenge rooms. One in the left is the valkryie, and the other on the right is just enemies. In order to get to the valkyrie you have to turn left every time.

I typically use Classic controls for attacking. You know Square for light attacks and Triangle for Heavy, the good old fashioned God of War 1, 2 and 3 way. Update: I need to play this again. Haven't done so in some time, but I need to do this on Give Me God of War on NG+ and like an absolute psychopath, I did my first playthrough on Give me God of War
