No, they did not take the singleplayer campaign out of the game, you simply hit the button which skips the first campaign and spoils the story in a cutscene, placing you into events after the first campaign. These have the co-op enabled for up to four players. There are three other campaigns available after the first one and all of them have co-op enabled after the first mission.

I played the game for the first time after its final patch and immediately was confused by the main menu so chose that option which spoiled the story before I even began and then was confused where the story was. The irony is that after the game spoils the whole story for you THEN it provides a pop up message about how this mode takes place after the story and spoils the story. Thanks game! 👍

This game had potential, as far as avengers stories goes it was pretty solid, the characters all felt pretty fun to play, it just sucks that the game is kinda clunky at times and after the story, aside from the new stories they added upon each new character being introduced were all pretty good, but the missions felt mostly repetitive and somehow hulk was the worst character even though he’s literally the strongest avenger

Hulk should’ve been slower in his combos and did waaaaaay more damage. He shouldn’t take as many hits to beat up a lame robot as Girl with Bow, or Guy with Bow, or Girl with Stick/guns. And Thor wasn’t much better with his hammer doing so little damage

Honestly this game wouldn't be so bad, if every enemy wasn't a damage sponge. A hack and slash style marvel game with abilities that combine together is a great idea, damage sponge enemies not so much.

I hated the Spongy enemies as well but honestly, I just lowered the difficulty to Easy, not that it was too challenging but just for the sake of me and my Son play8ng in coop and it feeling like a regular hack n slash game with realistic health for enemies. It actually made the game far more enjoyable for us. 😎👍🏾

Spongey enemies wouldn’t even be that bad if it was regulated to specifically weaker characters like Black Widow and Bowman and Bowgirl. Hulk should one shot most enemies. That he doesn’t makes him the worst adaptation in the game. He takes just as long to beat up anything as just a woman. Sure, highly trained and capable, but she has no superpowers. Goofy. I know balancing is hard but maybe if you can’t figure it out just don’t make the game then. 🤷‍♂️

2 shields would probably be a programming issue, 1 shield stays on the character the other one is a projectile actor. It's tricky to program this shit. Latency would probably show the projectile actor which is supposed to be invisible until it's called from the code to be "shot"

With the final patch nothing improved. The only noticeable change was the upgrade system and skins being free. I played after the final patch, and when I was grinding the platinum was listening to videos from the game from its launch and pretty much all the bugs mentioned in those videos were ones I experienced. Including one where you are unable to pick up loot. In a loot based game. Amazing!

I didn’t play this game on launch day but I did start playing it once they added Spider-Man. I gotta say it’s pretty fun and the main story is cool as well. My favorite characters are Captain America, Spider-Man, and Iron Man. In my opinion they have the best combat finishers. Plus this game has some great voice acting. I gotta admit the voice of Spider-Man is a bit bizarre but still he does a good job.

when I first played this game I got to the crashed helicarrier and when I finally got to the mission select and beat the first mission I spawned in and fell through the map I actually have some clips of it but the worst part was there was nothing I could do to stop falling through the map so I restarted the campaign and that finally fixed it.

The pulses are C4 arrows you detonate them after. Once you had too many 1 of 2 things happen they start exploding 1 by 1 or your console/PC explodes.

when I had the game the fun characters to play was Thor, Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, and Hulk. I never finished the game but was willing to rebuy if Spiderman was good but that wasn't the case
