I'm new to the game, lost my firefly 50/50 to Clara, but in hindsight now it was a blessing in disguise cuz she's pretty solid I'm also going for sparkle on her rerun and my team would be the exact same one you used in moc, that was funny to see but also nice to confirm I can comfortably clear with that team. I know holding out for robin would be better but I like sparkle and don't think I'd resist the call to gamba XD. Found your channel looking up qq clears for fun and yours was the first one with commentary, very chill and a nice vibe.

What this shows me is that I really need Robin for my Clara. She pretty much solves the issue of dealing with enemies that don't attack you because of the massive atk buff she gives. Pretty much supercharges Clara's skill. Also makes your other allies do respectable damage to trash mobs. Yunli is also pretty good as a premium LC that makes building Clara alot easier while giving alot of things that she likes such as the aggro boost.

Not sure if you said this anywhere, but all I'd say for the future is that when playing Aventurine and Clara together it makes sense to place them both in the middle as they are your preferred units to take hits. That definitely ought to buff out the issues with Clara needing targets which Yunli doesn't have. Aventurine is huge ally for her in that sense. I genuinely feel like other than people who pull for personality and character (based and goated strategy), nobody who owns any copies of both Clara *and* Aventurine should be pulling for Yunli, ESPECIALLY given the quality of the upcoming DPS characters, if my 6th sense for these things is to be believed.

Yunli's LC at S1 will be objectively better than Clara's LC at S5, if for no other reason than the taunt it provides. The fact that it also provides better damage boosts, even at S1, is just icing on the cake. That said, if you are already clearing content with Clara, unless you are just barely squeezing by the upgrade isn't going to do much for your account. It would be best to just save for future units (2.5 looks stacked) instead of upgrading something that is already working for you. If you don't mind spending money, however, then go for it. But I don't think anyone else really makes good use of Clara's LC (Arlan maybe?), so it kind of feels like a huge waste of resources to replace it.

(I dont have Robin or Bronya) Tho i do like the crit dmg and follow up boost. I am questioning how good this lc is for Clara dmg. 72% follow up dmg boost is sexy but i have a e1 clara so her skill is a lot more spammable. Clara own lc has a small dmg boost compare to yunli's lc but does buff clara skill aswell, and gives her a small heal to boot. I would like a tip for if i should spend my resources on the lc.

​@@TheCrimsonFacker Based on how you are phrasing your question, I would lean towards the no camp. I don't think it's worth it. But at the end of the day, the person who knows your account best is you. What are you pulling for? Are you pulling on banners to help upgrade your account so you can progress further into the endgame content, or are you already clearing all the content and are just pulling to upgrade a character you like to use? Depending on where you are and what you are focusing on completely changes the answer. If you are trying to progress, then a lightcone will not do much for you, and you'd be better spending your resources on a different character to expand your team options. The only lightcones truly worth going for are the ones that add functionality to a character that otherwise wouldn't be there, such as Ruan Mei's light cone giving a skill point, or Acheron's light cone allowing her to stack her ultimate way quicker. Yunli's lightcone is kind of in a grey area for Clara. On one hand, as you pointed out, Clara has ways around the lack of aggro the lc gives with her technique and ultimate, and you can build teams around her that allow her to spam her ultimate over and over to where the aggro boost doesn't provide much. On the other hand, if you don't have the characters or resources to build a team around her that can maximize her ultimate usage, then she becomes heavily RNG reliant, and the extra aggro boost the lc provides will end up making her a lot more consistent. But the damage boost the lc provides is just the cherry on top. At the end of the day, damage boosts from LCs are just ways to skip relic farming. If you couldn't pass MOC with Clara before, the extra ~20% damage or w/e it gives won't end up being the difference maker most likely. Spending more of your resources farming for better relics will end up providing better numbers than just slapping on a LC will, every time. While Yunli's LC is undoubtedly Clara's best option, since it gives the most damage without any weird conditions to juggle, it's not going to be better than building a strong support core around her with characters like Sparkle, Ruan Mei, Topaz, Tingyun, HuoHuo, and so on. So if you're looking to upgrade your Clara, it would be better to focus on her teammates that can amplify her, as well as increasing the investment being put into her own relics.
