Not for the reason that you'd think, Pinkie is my favorite. A lot of people don't get this, because they usually just remember Pinkie being bright and random, but in actuality, Pinkie has the deepest most varied array of emotions out of all the Mane 6 by a wide margin. I like a complex character.

For the most part, each of the Mane 6 stays on a particular baseline emotions-wise, but Pinkie can be angry, confused, sad, happy, excited, disappointed, upset, etc., on any episode that isn't specifically centered around her. And it's not random either, but rather understandably so. I remember finding it so refreshing, especially on Season 1, to have one of them show something different than what was expected.

Pinkie has a lot of the best songs. Rarity (the white one with the purple mane) also has some really good ones. If you want a good Rarity song I would recommend "Art of the Dress". Ponies are not born with their cutie mark. The cutie mark appears on a young pony's flank usually around adolescence, and it appears when they find their calling in life. The marks can be very literal, like a pony whose special talent is playing the drums having a picture of a drum, or they can be more vague/symbolic, like a pony whose special talent is being imaginative having a picture of an open book that represents ideas. I don't want to spoil future episodes if you are going to watch the series, but yes in the second song the characters got the wrong cutie marks and it messed with their sense of identity.

"Smile" has such a deep meaning to me! I used to be part of the "Bronies of Ireland", and we used to meet up in Dublin once a month, and go to conventions and cosplay events together too. We used to go shopping for toys together, and go for food, and we also had a private room booked out where we would watch episodes/videos together while eating. Anyway, this episode was the first episode I ever saw together with them, there was like 30 of us in a room with a giant feast, watching the episode together for the first time on the day it aired. And what an episode to watch with everyone, the song was amazing and still is.

Before the smile song episode came out there was an animatic for it (I can’t remember if it was leaked or shown at bronycon) and everyone was SO HYPE for this season just for that song. I used to cry every time I heard it cuz it was a long time coming and pinkie pie’s impact on everyone in town is just so infectious. She can be annoying sometimes, but she also has a lot of good moments.

The episode that second song was in had like 5 songs. It was a major episode that changed something in the series plot-wise. At the time it was very controversial. The song you would want to follow up on for that one is "A True True Friend" it's the resolution to the swapped marks. Spoilers probably won't matter cause there's nothing as plot twisty as the pink diamond thing from Steven Universe. Most twists are contained within the episodes aside from the last few seasons. Also the marks are sort of like a coming of age mark that show up where you realize your special talent or destiny. There don't change naturally. Sometime in the future you might want to consider reacting to fan songs as well. The two biggest I've seen nearly every reactor watch are "Lullaby for a Princess" and "The Moon Rises", cause of how high quality the animation versions are. Both songs are about the Tale of the Two SIsters that the first two episode of MLP are about. It's up to you if you want to see the show or the songs first.

I still recommend "Apples to the Core", "Light of Your Cutie Mark", and "I'll Fly." I remember first seeing the animatic for Apples to the Core during the post season hiatus, and they showed a preview of what was to come in the next season. It was so exciting to watch. I really miss the show.

Honestly all the ponies have great songs. I think Applejack (the orange one) and Rarity (the white one) are underrated as singers. My favorite pony is Applejack though I like them all. I can't say why due to spoilers, but a lot of her more frustrating traits are explained by something later on and makes you see her in a different way.

Since you asked, my favorite pony is Pinkie Pie, and I feel like she has the best songs, though the Absolute best songs will generally have More than one pony singing them. For example, my personal favorite song that I think you should include is "Flawless", and that has parts from all the Mane Six. Another fantastic song that I forgot to recomend previously is "The Magic Inside", a great song on it's own, sung by a guest character. Also, since in your first video you had a song from the movie, I'll throw out another from the movie: "We got this together". Honestly the movie really Nailed the songs, they're ALL great.

In this series, the mark appears when the pony gets an idea of what they’re good at, or what they want to do with their lives. In the episode it this song appeared in. The purple pony was given a task to o finish an old spell, she casted it out of curiosity, And it scrambled her friends’ marks. This brainwashed them into thinking that they were meant to do other things.

Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy sharewith Andrea Libman the same voice actress in the speaking role. She does a fantastic job also singing Fluttershy, but Pinkie is so over the top, that they hired Shannon Chan-Kent, which is a studied soprano. So in most songs when somepony is hitting a high note, it's almost always Pinkie Pie.

In terms of songs I like a lot of the ones where they're often singing together or with other characters, int erms of solos my favourite character's songs would be Rarity's (the white one's). I love Art of the Dress, Becoming Popular, Rules of Rarity and Got the Music in You (though she sings that with other characters but wv, she's part of the mane six so I count it). Even then I still love Fluttershy (The yellow one)'s So Many Wonders and her solo in Fili Vanilli a lot, but Rarity takes the cake for me. Also there's a tonne of other good songs in the show, they just have a bunch of spoilers in them so it's a bit hard to recommend fandom favourites when the character on screen have gone through a MASSIVE series-altering change. I'm glad you like the songs, seeing your reaction gave me nostalgia for when I first got into and fell in love with the show. Seeing all these songs at once is super nostalgic, I'm glad other people can experience and love them as much as I still do. :D

If you listen to top lists that people made of the songs, you will most definitely find the smile song on those lists.

All the main characters get their chance to shine with great songs, but clearly some get more like Twilight (The all purple one) since shes the lead in the most episodes. The Smile Song is/was literally the Brony Fandoms Anthem, its one of the best songs in the show. I also recommend Art of the Dress, Raise This Barn, The Goof Off, I'll Fly, and The Magic Inside. Any combination of these would make a great vid

I truly believe Smile, is one of the best possible songs in the entire MLP show. It's a song that makes everyone just smile while watching it. No matter how sad they are, nor how angry, or upset. It will always bring out a smile. And to me, that's what makes it an amazing song. Able to cheer people up and calm them down while being fun to listen to and enjoy
