Ok, I have never been an active community member, more of a lurker, but I think you should not go to another channel with content other than Rocket League. The name of the channel is Thanovic, not Thanovic Plays Rocket League or else. Some people may have come here for Rocket League, but definitely most of them stayed for you. Of course, the final decision is yours, but my opinion is - new content here, and not somewhere else on KZbin. The more you express yourself with your content, the better - thanks much for everything 😁

You have been my favorite RL content creator for a while now and while it will be sad to see you go, I also think that nobody should force themselves to do something that they don't want to do just because they feel obligated to do it. One of the main reasons I love watching your videos and streams is your personality, so I think that if you play different games a lot of people, myself included, will still watch your videos simply because you are so entertaining to watch. The few times I've been able to watch your streams (they are usually 2-6am for me haha) they've always been really fun even when you were playing games other than rocket league. I can't wait to see where you go from here and wish you luck in whatever you decide to do.

This is completely natural and healthy and is a consequence of game-play loop style games. What happens is, eventually, you hit a point where you feel like either you cant reasonably get better than where you are, or that to do so requires more work than its worth, AND that where you are leaves little left to discover. Id reckon that youre about as good as it gets without going pro. Short of going competitive professionally, there isnt really anything left for you to do. Id say that the fact a game with a 5m game loop and absolutely no narrative could get 6,000hrs of your time and enjoyment before you sort of chewed through it is a testiment to how awesome of a game it truly was.

This video made me subscribe actually. Recently got into rocket league and see your videos occasionally. I respect the way you handled this decision and I’ll happily support you on your future endeavors.

I believe you should stay with this channel and just upload whatever makes you happy and the content you enjoy doing. People may have come here for the rocket league content, but those who stay, stay because of you. Not because of the game. All of the 400k people are here to always support you, no matter the game you upload. Good luck on this next fase of your content creation carrier

Thanovic, I would like to thank you for pretty much teaching me RL. You’ve done so much over the years, and personally I wouldn’t mind you becoming a variety channel. Love the content, wish you the best. ❤

I really enjoyed the 100h series as you had a very distinct style of explaining your learning process and I would love to see you learning other games here on this channel

Your 100 hours series was great, we all learnt a lot and I think it’s a great idea to try it with other games. I haven’t watched your content in a year but those videos are something I would click on. Try it

Bro made rocket league so soothing to watch all thru covid. I enjoy your style of you playing this game, your commentary and definitely helped me play the game better. Hopefully one day you come back to RL and its fun for you once again

So much love to you, been here for a long time and i feel about the game the same way. I'd love for the channel to just be.. you. Do what you like doing right now and share it with the world. Play new games, maybe even try out smaller, much more different ones. Maybe collabs with other creators even. Best of luck!

Good luck bro. You genuinely helped me and so many other people with this game that we love. And you always seemed like a genuinely good dude. I appreciate the shit outta you man. I hope you take pride in the reached you’ve had for so many people with this psychopathic game. And I get it. You’re the fuckin man and you’ll kill it with whatever you do next. Peace bud

Keep posting on the main channel. I will make sure to follow along whatever path you go down. You should try some old school RuneScape.

I’ve personally been watching you since the 100 hours series and have always liked your content. That being said even if you quit rocket league I will still support your channel, it’ll almost be refreshing to see something besides rocket league. Also just post your videos on this channel, and I hope you’ll stream or post a rocket league video once a year or so

Dude I’m a Thanovic fan, so as long as you wanna keep posting videos I’ll keep watching em. Sorry to hear about your burnout but I’m excited for what the future holds :)

Same thing happened to me dude. Had over 3k hours and multiple seasons of GC and I got bored and stopped playing. I’ll still watch your content if it’s not RL. Take care my dude! ❤

I would love to watch you play Trackmania. I actually also have the game installed, still sitting on my desktop, waiting for the day i either get too bored or too annoyed at rocket league to start another game.

Damn, i recently picked up rocket league and you're one of the only rocket league channels i follow, so it's kinda funny timing, but i followed because of the personality and i'll stay for the same reason. Sad to see someone quitting something they once loved, but as a long time league player who quit for rocket league, i understand and am happy to see you start other content!

You've done so damn much for our community, during these past few years - And no one will forget you for that. I really wish you success - In your newfound - And much highly anticipated endevaours!

You, Musty, and Sunless. Are what got me into the game. 3k hours in, getting close to GC, it’s sad seeing everyone leave. But I get it. Work on your mental, thanks for all the great vids and tutorials. RL 🐐.

So grateful for all the Rocket League content over the years, the 100 Hours of ... series really was a huge motivator for me to improve myself. Personally I would love to see your content stay on this channel, someone else in the comments said it but a lot of us come for you, not just Rocket League. If anything, I would love to see what you can accomplish here reinventing some of the same ideas you had for Rocket League into new games. Just my take, best of luck wherever you land

I am a fan of your content not just cause its RL so whatever you play will be awesome to watch!

I know how you feel man. I haven't actually played a game of Rocket League in about 2 years now (I haven't even opened it since November, and that was just to check how many hours played I had in-game (which only counts actual playtime, whereas Steam counts sitting in the menu as playtime)). Still watch RL content creators on KZbin, but I just have zero desire the play the game. Best of luck, hopefully the new videos are just as good!

I’ve had a point like this before, I feel like it’s good to quit especially if it’s doing yourself better. I quit rocket league for about 7 months and eventually I got my passion and love for rocket league back again but of course it’s not the same for everyone. You do you man and do the best for yourself even if it means quoting rocket league forever. Love you bro and I hope you keep living a great life.

Thanovic thank you for all the content over the years! I think you should go and make gaming content relating to what you enjoy! I am sure we will still all be here and supporting you regardless of the direction your channel goes! ❤

It was a pleasure being here, supporting when I can. You taught me most of the mechanics i know. I recently quit, and this helps me to know it was the right choice. Ive been playing another loop game. Diablo 4.

I quit playing back in January for the same reason. Honestly just start posting the content you enjoy and want to do on here and I'll keep watching!

i was like this take a year or 2 break. come back with some friends you liked playing with, you might not throw youself at the game again but those few games you play then will be filled with nostalgia and are actually fun.

Play what you want bro. I’ll watch you play whatever, I’m here cos YOURE a good bloke and you make nice content it’s just a bonus you play rocket league. I’m 100% sure that everyone here watches content other than rocket league. Play/do what you want man, we’ll all watch it.

Thank you so much for everything thanovic! When I started playing rocket league in 2023, I had no idea what I was doing, so I watched your beginners guide to rocket league before I started playing and it helped so much. After this, when I had a bad ranked session, watching your videos about different mechanics and how to rank up assured me that it was all fine. You are such a calm player, and I respect that. I will continue supporting the channel whatever you decide to do next. GG, see you in the next stage of your channel! ❤

I used to stream a game that I got sick of and when I started streaming RL I lost 50% of my subscribers right away, but in the long run I am much happier now that I am streaming and uploading a game that I love. Which is RL. You do you and be happy that's what counts.
