funnily enough old world blues already had some systems like this in place. Certain provinces had buffs (jewel of the whatever for your trade node being the best). Enclave reborn redux already had the buffs for winning massive wars (against NCR for example) and there is a coring mechanic using energy in the submod

My favourite part of the DLC is that late game is much more interesting now. Typically you can kill the axis or allies and Comintern by mid game, but on the off chance you reach 1945+ the stakes are so much higher. Air supremacy goes out the door as nuclear warheads come into play, the Soviets and Allies start building up nuclear ICBM stockpiles after the war, and with the ability to preplan strikes there's quite literally a cold war now thats guaranteed to go hot. The longer WW2 lasts the worse the Cold War will be for everyone and its such a great twist. Especially for multiplayer.

This is great but sad when other nations have obsolete focus trees, like having focuses for obsolete ship types that don't exist in the game anymore. It would be great if they did at least a small pass in the game for all the focuses and just fix the broken ones. a days job tbh if you just change the obsolete unit types to real ones etc.

How do the naval fuel tanks work in this new dlc? Typically it was available by default when you had a cruiser submarine in your inventory like Japan and France did. I couldnt find the research option, as now its not available by default from the start. They did add the fleet submarine, but thats a different hull.
