I was so surprised how no other review i came across mentioned this similarity.. with brothers karamazov.. because i could see that in the synopsis itself.. i am glad you talked about it

I loved Intermezzo but I've never read and didn't know the convention to Dostoyevsky. Thank you for that. I'll definitely have to check that out.

Fantastic review. Sally tricks us I think. She wants us to believe Peter = Mitya, and Ivan = Alyosha. But Ivan is actually Ivan. I also think the main theme of the book is undermining Peter's simplistic views on things. So *peter* is judgmental of Naomi's OF channel but then we learn later that she never even posted any nudes on main and it was all very tame compared to what we normally think of OF

The amount of different ways the subtitles interprets the brothers karamazov made me chuckle. I liked the writing of the book but I wasn't a big fan of how the women were written, they all seemed rather spineless
