Great Review!! I agree that it's not for everyone and I also agree that its impossible to talk about intermezzo without bringing up past Sally books, although i really did enjoy Intermezzo because of the insights and how connected I felt with the characters, despite not relating. The grief aspect of the book however hit hard and was very accurate. I guess, as with any book, it depends on where you are in your life and how it relates back.

I absolutely agree! It's easy to see that Sally Rooney is getting better and better with every book, but when it comes to personal enjoyment it can sometimes come down to when that book finds you :)

I read and enjoyed it as I have all her books to varying degrees. Your favourite is my least. Good review.

I've found that most people I talk to find Beautiful World their least fav, I get it! That is the beauty of Sally Rooney I think!
