I've always loved Mean Girls and this was a good enough revisitation. Some of the songs were fun, some weren't and i loved seeing Lindsey back; apparently they're doing a sequel to her Freaky Friday movie too so I hope she gets a comeback.

The original Mean Girls is actually one of my all time favorite comedies, I think it’s hilarious. And it’s one of the examples of a chick flick that even guys can get into because of how clever and witty Tina Fey’s script was, and it also had an edge to it, almost like that decade’s Heathers. Plus it was the movie that introduced me to Rachel McAdams (and started my crush on her 😍) and Amanda Seyfried. Though I get if it’s not your thing, comedy subjective after all, but I think it’s not just one of the best comedies to come out of the 2000s, but one of the best teen movies ever made. I haven’t seen the new one yet, but I plan to. I’ve heard reactions ranging from it was enjoyable to being whatever on it. I know it’s more based off the Broadway musical version mixed with the 2004 original. But we’ll see, solid review as always.

Hey that's totally fair because I recognize how it resonated with people and it's unusual sense of humor which most movies of its type would even dare to do. Rachel McAdams is a beautiful lady no doubt ;) You may or may not like this one because it hits more or less the same beats with a few changes but it's worth watching nonetheless if you're a fan of the original film. Great review Joe, the original Mean Girls movie is my wife’s favourite movie and i didn’t mind the original movie which I can understand why it’s a cult classic movie with its quotes and anything what made the original movie so good. This one is fine I guess, it has its moments where I was entertained by it, and I haven’t seen broadway musical but the songs here I do quite like, and Janis & Damian are fun characters just like there in the original movie. I don’t wanna be those guys who say, “it’s the same movie” (looking at you Sam’s Channel) and the rest of the cast are fine they did there best, and Tiny Fey and Tim Meadows are still good as there were in the original movie. I do respect Tiny Fey’s heart and passion in this remake and I do see it but another that I don’t think I will watch this one again, I will always watch the original movie over this again, unless my wife would watch this again!

Yeah I feel like there was something missing from this one, I don't feel like it had the same oomph as it's counterpart despite the passion from behind the camera and it's easy to say an older film is always better when it's not always the case. A perfectly harmless take it or leave it piece of media as far as I'm concerned. And don't get even me started on Sam's Channel...
