10:10 uhmm actually 🤓☝️ the P40, by the Italian tank doctrine was designed as an heavy tank, its full designation is carro pesante da 75/32 P40, where “carro pesante” and the P before the number 40 stand respectively for heavy tank and heavy (other examples of this designation are the M13/40 where M stands for medio, medium, and the L33, where L stands for leggero, light), 75/32 is the gun caliber and lenght, and 40 was the year when the tank started development.

The funniest thing is the aphe can only pen the kv from a very specific spot in the back from close range. Cant even pen the side 😂

@@Sebmundo very very very false. you can pen it from side on, the driver's hatch, and the flat plates on the turret face on the L-11 version. you can pen the cupola, turret front on the 2 sides of the mantlet (only 55mm), the driver's port and in some cases the lower plate on the KV-1S you can pen the driver's port on the KV-2 and as well you can just load HEAT

Italian tech tree isn't bad, you just need to understand that Italy is a glass canon country You will start to miss actual Italian tanks when you reach rank 4, where there are only 4 Italian vehicles

to be fair they just straight up get better fireflies than britain, the Ic has better maneuverability and more crew than the normal firefly, and the Vc gets APDS for only a .3 BR increase

fun fact: both the 37 and 47mm italian APHE for some unknown reason deals a *LOT* more damage than they should considering their calibre and filler. while they do not overpressure, they are still going to do 1shots a vast majority of the times. i think the low tier italian tanks are good, you just need to find a very perfect balance of gameplay with them, which is not easy to master. but when you do, they are excellent.

Omg I love italy low tier, unironically the teams are so good, and OMG M24, I never knew how good M24 can be until I played M24 with actual teams. My last 10 games with the american chaffee were like "Victory, Defeat, Defeat, Defeat, Victory, Victory, Defeat, Victory, Defeat, Defeat" My last 10 games with the italian chaffee were like 9 Victories and a close loss. Idk it's just awesome.

Early italy used to be OP AF. But all their 1.0 tanks got moved up and they got new 1.0 tanks. Also try the 90/53 M41M. Same gun as the breda but even lower BR. It unfortunatly can only carry 8 shells (had a trailer that holds more ammo IRL) but with the new update that allows you to deploy ammo boxes it shoulsnt be so bad. In my 3000 hours italy was by far the easiest nation to grind.

bought the p40 and the m43 leoncello when they were on sale recently for half price since i wanted to try italy bit more, gott i love the p40. just came out of a 13:1 Match and beflre that a 8:0, 6:1 match. its bounces more than you'd imagine and survives more than it should, for once war thunder actually makes fun
