Love that this is a fully black-owned business. I make my own products but feel safe buying this line. I can't wait to try this one.

I clicked so fast! 😂 I love design essentials I’ve been using their line for 5 years since my big chop of 2017. Their products really have kept my hair healthy and strong. I use oat protein henna, honey Creme, rosemary and mint (in that order), and almond butter that I mix with Restore by DE as a protein treatment once a month. I love it! I want to try this chebe line it’s so tempting!

I actually tried this product line last night on my husband hair. We used the Pre-poo mask first and it made his hair feel so moisturized and feels amazing!

I used all the styling products to this line and loved them. I did use the leave in and the cream with a little of the mousse on top on my daughter's really thick hair for twists and worked bomb! Definitely gave great twist out results. My hair is curly so mousse usually works good at defining my curls. Going to try it for a WnG on my hair and see how it goes.

I love the DE original line (my mom bought the entire line for me for Christmas two years ago) so I'm definitely going to give this line a try. Thank you for your review

I just saw them at walmart!! The leave-in was SO good. The smell was a little strong, but I might have just found my new staple ❤

I agree, definition shouldn't always be the goal. But as you said, that's for another time lol.

This looks like a blow out. I love it 😍 Your hair does look really moisturized. I like an undefined wash and go for special occasions. If it wasn't for the tangles, I would do mousse/foam wash and gos more often.

Same! The tangles is the only thing that keeps me from doing it more often and thank you ❤

Conditioning first or pre pooing i feel like is critical to a dry girls wash day. I use pre poos sometimes but I will also add Ayurvedic herbs and powders to styling creams and use those as pre-poos too….it conditions the hair and then shampoo lifts the cuticle back up to clean the hair.

I was intrigued by the review because I've not looked to DE for my wash and go sets.. So when I saw you were reviewing, had to watch.. And I heard what you said about definition and how its a conversation for another day, but hear me out hear me out 😂, though my definition isn't a goal persay it is necessary for me in order to ensure my hair remains healthy.. What I mean by that is that by defining my curls it does the same as if someone was to stretch or straighten their hair.. As in when I have my curls defined it keeps my hair in an "organized" form.. That definition prevents me from experiencing things like matting, tangling, knots, etc which lead to breakage and just difficult long wash sessions over all.. I notice that when I do allow my hair to just be, even if just a couple days shoot even 1 day out in the wind and the elements, and do nothing to define my curls or stretch or twist my hair, I set myself up for disaster.. Leading to super long corrective sessions to undo all the damage I'd done by not taking the little bit of time to organize my hair in styling.. Whole point is the definition, or organization of my hair, is what best protects my hair from unnecessary damage.. Its definitely more so a function thing over aesthetic.. Because if I could get away with doing nothing to my hair, I most definitely would.. I love it in every form, but do what is best to ensure ease during my wash and style sessions and just the overall health of my hair..

Thanks for watching! Trust me when I say my motto is do what works for you and I truly mean that lol. Any opinions I have regarding the topic of hair is in reference to my own hair and personal experience. Natural hair isn’t one size fits all; we all do different things because of what specifically works for each individual and that’s the beauty of it. 💜

The almond avocado line is for natural hair and the entire line is really good! Been using it for 3 years. They also have a product line for when you want to do a silk press. You can probably find some old YT reviews on both lines. Definitely a slept on brand

I real don’t understand the benefit of using this product. Chebe is supposed to be left on the hair not rinsed out that is how the hair is strengthened. Rinsing it out gets rid of its natural properties
