Try the Daily Moisturizing Lotion instead of the Leave In conditioner and then the curl enhancing mousse. The moisturizer is AMAZING!!!!! A little sticky but the look last for days without reapplying.

The shampoo in this line is soooo good!! I've repurchased it twice and have been using it for over a year. A little bit of product goes such a long way and for a sulfate free shampoo it lathers sooooo well

I love design essential natural line. That’s all I use. My hair is thick, but my strands are fine, so I can’t use heavy products. This is the only line that brings out my curls, gives lasting hydration, and allows my hair to be low maintenance.

I've used the conditioner and leave in conditioner for a long time. Love them! I have 4C hair and I really like using the conditioner for detangling and I think the leave in helps my hair retain moisture over time.

I have always wanted to use other stuff in this line, but due to pricing of the products I have never bought other items. However, I swear by the styling creme in this line. Its wonderful. I never considered buying Design Essentials because of the price and thought it was for the salon. when it came in a Curlbox I was like why they send this not knowing they had a line for natural hair. It’s so bomb. This is one brand that I would repurchase again and I hold on to the products I have now with a Kung Fu grip. I tell family and friends you can use the products over here but not my DE.

Design Essentials is the only Black-owned brand that I absolutely adore! I recommend them to everyone. Their products are pricey but very much worth every penny. The price point is to be taken into consideration when you're buying quality products and theirs are worth every penny.

I have the leave in as well and it’s super light with minimal moisture. I have loose curls and I didn’t like it much either 😕. It’s good for detangling before wash day. You probably would’ve preferred the moisturizing lotion instead.

I’ve been using the mousse for over a year and love it! I can never seem to find the avocado almond shampoo conditioner and it makes me sad! I love i love but yes that price baybeeee but it does last me for quite a bit and i tend to wash and go shingle method w about 5/6 pumps per section no crunch leaves shiny and smells bomb i get a full week of lovely ness w not so crazy frizz and volume that builds daily I’m here for it

It works GREAT for my THICK and COURSE hair. I wouldn't say it's only for finer hair because my hair does become soft and defined after using it and letting it sit for 30 minutes or so and I only use DE.
