Disclaimer as he did mention: GeForce now means it's not actually running on the hardware and that the M4 would probably kick ass in fort if it could run natively. Also I think the bad fps may be from Fortnite running on DX11. Epic finally addressed the DX11 bug which causes stutter (they only finally realized after like 2 years, it's still not fixed) (also affects performance mode, it's just not as noticable because perf mode generally gets much higher fps) My reccomendation for no stutter, use dx12 on low settings (200fps average on rtx 4060 and ryzen 5 5600.) Performance mode is acceptable (if you have a bad pc or really think you need the 500fps.) There is zero reason to use DX11 (iGPU from 2012 supports dx12 even, so if ur not using because ur hardware then you really need new hardware.)

you can install the game natively on Mac, you just have to install the iOS app file and it works since iOS devices and modern Macs share app structure. My Mac gets a stable 120 and its from 2021

actually it’s you guys who doesn’t know anything about apple computer. Bootcamp does not work on Apple Silicon anymore. Its only on intel. So windows app you will need parallels or crossover also you can port it with GPTK.

I am on macbook air m1 and i use free geforce now and I can never get solid 60fps unless i put 3d resolution to below 70% in fortnite. Also you can change the scroll wheel direction if you go to System Setting > Mouse and disable natural scrolling.

"most powerful pc" is not a good way to describe this when you're using cloud gaming. it isn't running on the device itself, its running on a remote computer rig. you'd get the same results on an old crappy Chromebook. There is absolutely no way to run Fortnite on an M1 or higher Mac, not even with Parallels.

that's only on intel macs. Bootcamp does not work on Apple Silicon chips. Apple is willing to make it work but Microsoft is not, likely because working with Apple is a pain but also Microsoft is currently in a deal with Snapdragon for ARM versionns of Windows. (Apple Silicon is also ARM.)

Its good for some games but alot of modern graphic games like black ops 6 or anything new requires windows.... and a specific graphic card.. So you wont experience as much gaming on imac... plus Parallels is freaking expensive like 99$+ and up it is a windows emulator basically.. lol but theres other ones too but Parallels is easier to use.. porting kit on imac is not too bad but still some games wouldnt work.
