Tbf GTC is a strong character. It feels like a mixture of a zooner and a glass cannon, with very good lmb trades, but definetly not a rush down Idk, it's not "OP", but they a strong character if in proper hands

@@The_Second_Player Yeah saw that coming, but I mean it as in GTC being hard to play properly, because you're made of paper But looking at it, GTC mostly has good matchups, supposing each player is equally expert in their characters, GTC still wins most of the times because of how the char is made. Can't really think of many "hard" match ups honestly, maybe Asriel and Undyne because they can deal good enough damage on GTC due to the low HP pool and still withstand a good amount of damage, while also outspeeding them Haven't seen many against SSC, I think SSC also outbest GTC but I did have to see more matches, besides SSC is not complete yet so idk

My issue with Astral is how he always seem to complain just to complain. Like, he says GTC is op and a counterpick, yet he doesn't even bother to switch characters. I'm sure Astral is a good player, but sometimes I feel like he's scared of switching off Sans given how everytime I see him, he's playing as Sans.

Sans has 200 health, 300 defense, and can *still* out-damage gtc. Honestly, Sans needs a nerf.

It's not all about damage, it's about the tools. GTC has various tools that greatly help him. Like AOE attacks, attacks that mute, attacks that break guard and stun you and deal huge damage, a HEAL, an unavoidable ULTIMATE, an avoidable ultimate that deals HUGE DAMAGE, an attack that pulls the opponent straight to you to DEAL that damage. Many projectiles that stun to give you a short advantage, hell even a beam to knock people off their feet. They have a lot. While Sans has damaging options but only 3 inflict stun out on the field, if you ever get damaged badly by Sans it's because YOU made a huge mistake. (Moving in blue bones) (Not having a projectile ready for raw telekinesis) all his other options only deal point damage.

Agree with the first reply, stats don't make a character good, if that was true Asgore wouldn't suck Astral did say something that is quite true on sans, it has no approach tools. I mean I guess it is intended since his kit is basically zoning, but at the same time is very easy to approach, only having to worry about lmb trades and tele 1. Sans does have good matchups, but GTC is not one of them, mostly because Sans will rarely get to land a full combo (since sans most likely loses lmb trades) and can't really use tele 1 to engage, because of so many projectiles
