I need a bigger grip for my a6400 and I don't need all those extra screw holes. do you think I can cut out the metal part that do not screw to the body to save weight and still have something solid to use, just as a bigger camera grip? my plan would be to remove the top part and the left part (where the camera ports are), I keep just the bottom part with the 3/8" screw that goes to the bottom of the camera and the grip itself. thank you
