We all know that Ms. Oropesa can sing bel canto opera with more finesse and beauty than most past and present day sopranos. But did we all know that she could have an equally successful career as an interpreter of German Lieder? These Schubert songs really demonstrate the depth and range of Lisette's superior voice. No flashy high notes, no fast coloratura passages, just simply singing with pure beauty and soulful passion. BRAVA!
