u know, I think it's so funny to talk about it right now since Moontone in WoR is doing the most amazing update ever in the game, lowering the pitty counter, lowering alot the guaranteed event shards count needed, improving the champion rates, improving the drop rates of ALOT of things in the game, they put new resources just to improve the player experience with Awakening, making easier to get the Awakenings in those hard, but not lord, heroes from ancients, and it made me so much more excited and up to expend more in the game since it makes me feel like I'm being appreciated for playing theyr game, that they don't just want to put new things and make it harder and harder for u to get what u want.... They gonna redo the banner where u get a guarantee new hero from the normal pool, even if those heroes that u lack of is Lord.... it's something simple, but it makes a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more enjoyable experience to me, and honestly to everyone in the game.

I've probably spent close to 1000 on this game and I quit at level 99, mid fusion, and not even in a fit of anger. The live arena change was the straw that broke the camels back. They actually think we should give them more time and not less. It feels great to be free of raid

I have not quit raid simply because i like my clan so i stay and hit clanboss daily. But i really don't fully engage all the modes anymore and some days don't even do the daily quests anymore. The game is a chore and a job to manage. Its not worth spending on because even if you do they will nerf it later and make your investment worthless. so plarium can eat a dead skunk.

I honestly used to really enjoy doing fusions, but it has gotten so bad lately. Dungeon Divers when they randomly decided to make each one require 3700 points instead of 2700. Less and less frequent bonus epics and less bonus epics altogether. The complete removal of bonus fragments from winning tournaments, the massive reduction of extra fragments from just events that allows you more breathing room if you miss something, or simply allowing you to skip maybe an ice golem event if you don't want to waste energy on Ice golem. Fusions have become a far more tedious and annoying time sink. Now they are throwing random bullshit events into them to make it even worse.

Every faction has 5-20 legendaries from the base game that are useless, Shadowkin and Sylvan watchers aren't as badly affected due to being newer factions but the original ones are full of "shit sandwiches".

My clan’s been gradually shrinking too. It is starting to feel like a dying game. There have been times it’s felt like this before, but the Hydra changes really have hit hard. If they’d actually worked to nerf Trunda it might’ve been different, but leaving her the strongest option and gutting other options may be a mortal blow.

I’m one of the people that quit. There are a bunch of reasons, but the final straw was the “win a live arena” quest. I even do live arena daily, but it’s immensely time consuming and I want to do when I have time and not have my dailies gated by it. The hydra changes (and wixwell clan boss changes) didn’t sit well with me either. It’s lots of things.

Shard summons for awakening are really messed up too. This last summons promo was heavily weighted toward just a few champs. I kept pulling the same champ souls over and over again. It should be statistically impossible if there is an even probability distribution.

The same as always, except there's more to do now: Clear the Campaign; Get a certain rank for all the arenas; Get Arbiter, Ramantu, and Marius; Clear all Dungeons, including hard mode for those that have it; Clear Doom Tower; Clear all of the Faction Wars with 3*s; Clear the Cursed City on both difficulties; Get a good team for the highest difficulty for both Clan Bosses. Other miscelaneous objectives (and a waste of time) would be Siege, Highest Ranks of Arena, CvC, Hydra Clash, finishing the Great Halls, etc. If you've done all of this, there's really no reason to play the game anymore. Just start over or leave. They are indeed screwing up over and over again though. F*ck Plarium.

I've been playing raid off and on since 2020. What I've noticed with myself is they continually make small jabs in some way. This new thing takes a bunch of time with no way to stream line it. Nerfing this free thing we gave you. Increasing the cost slightly to do events. There haven't been many like BIG hits. It's just small jabs every time. I'll come back for a few months, collect a free login champ, participate in the fusions, do some events, etc and then I'll keep seeing an increased drain on my resources. For context, I normally leave with tons of stuff stacked up because I know when I come back I'll be the most excited to do things right then. Over the last year or so the few times I've been on raid I've seen a continual slow tick down in my stacked resources. I have to play longer to save up enough to even have a chance when I come back if I'm taking a few month break because they nerf some of the free champs or the resource usage inflation doesn't match with what I'm able to maintain as well for f2p. Even the problem you all mention with my older champs not performing their jobs as well on some of the newer content that I HAVE to farm in order to generate enough resources. What it culminates into is skipping more and more content. At some point it just becomes "if I'm skipping all this, why am I even trying to keep up?" I absolutely love the content creator community for the game. Even when I'm not playing I keep plugged in through all of your guys content. I just don't feel like plarium cares about me as a player all that much. I personally have been f2p so maybe that's true -- but I've played other games and it's different. It often feels like plarium actively makes the decision to push players harders for that chance to spend or increase spending for those that do. That's the vibe I continually get and it's a bit of a shame. Whether that's true or not is hard for me to say. But whether it is true or not on a wider scale doesn't matter all that much; it is true to me so that is my reality. I have a hard time believing I'm the only one who gets that same sense. If enough people believe it to be true, then it will be true. I do hope they can sort themselves out, but at this point I'm just looking towards a new game to take it's place. I'd say that's why I'm excited about something like godforge because it is being worked on by a lot of the community members here I am already familiar with and seems more open to feedback. More transparent as well -- you guys share a lot of the dev stuff and what not. It's a big thing that plarium seems to be missing out on.

I quit 4 months ago after 4 years ! I just couldnt keep justifying the time spent to play this game. A few weeks ago I logged back into my account and felt excited to give it another go. I played for one day and felt drained. I was logged on it nearly all day, so I quit and thats me done now. Id completely given up on live arena and 3v3, they take far too long alone, never mind any other content. Hydra I quite enjoyed, but I wasnt a big number hitter, and again, just didnt have time to figure the teams out. Running it on manual to get the best score was eating away an afternoon just by itself. This game needs some serious streamlining. Looking forward to trying Godforged out though :)

@hellhades I really do hope your team takes heed of Plarium's mistakes when you release Godforge. There is a difference from taking a break from the game and quitting. I have taken several breaks from Raid, but this time I quit. The final straw for me is when they dangled Wixwell as a progressive champ, knowing full well that they were Nerfing shields. I fully booked him, ran Minotaur, looked at guides, put a Hydra team together around him, only to be nerfed the next week. I felt scammed, and that's one of the worst feelings a customer can have.

The wixwell nerf took away progress for many early to midgame players who don't have a ton of other options.

The players ask for QoL stuff. Plarium responds "Not on the development schedule at this time." The players ask for a fix for the extreme Trunda dominance in hydra. Plarium nerfs virtually EVERY OTHER champ in the game, but still leaves Trunda as comparatively OP. Why should we trust them for ANYTHING? Sell the game to someone who gives half a ^%$# about the players, please!!

the changes that were made were unnecessary. The reason Trunda is such a problem is because they REFUSE to change resetters like Yumeko. The thing about Wixwell, he didn't need to be nerfed AT ALL. They could have just changed how the Mischief head works. Just make it so it only steals the initial shield that was created rather than the grown one. Easy fix for Yannica cheese and neither champion is nerfed, zero changes made to both of their kits. The recent changes, just a double and triple down on the mistakes they started with without changing the real issue which is the double reset champs/Trunda. The change to Wixwell has affected a lot of players. End gamers with great gear, it didn't do anything to their teams, but it did everyone else. I can still one key with mine, but it's shaky especially on NM. I can no longer reach turn limit and just squeak out a one key. They didn't need to do this to Wix because he wasn't the problem, the Mischief head's buff steal mechanic was the problem. Wixwell and Yannica just abused that head's mechanic, just change the mechanic so you don't have to change a champion YOUR COMMUNITY voted to create. It's a spit in the face honestly and the fix was easier and faster than going in and changing champions.

As a low/mid spender, I've suspended play for the next month or two, because Paylarium have already given us a triple decker shite sandwich already lol. The first wave of hydra nerfs that didn't fix the problem, then forcing LA down our throats in the advanced quests and now a second even harsher nerf to those teams still viable in hydra making Trunda, the target of all this, still as op in comparison to all other teams as she was before the nerfs. They asked for feedback for a entire year, people gave their feedback and they STILL ended up ignoring everything.. They took a entire year just to buff his multipliers by a tiny bit... The amount of dupes I get is infuriating. How do I have a +2 Michinaki and Tatura when I have like 15% of the leggos in the game? The odds of me pulling dupes should be very low and yet I'm getting them more often than not (especially in 1+1 events)

Im a 4 year player and got no mythical, aeshma is missing from fusion started. They add trash leggos which make so hard to find a good leggo, beside drop rates reduced so much , i did not get a sacred shard from cb last 2 weeks, and my last 16 sacred shard pulls i got no leggos ... and yet everyday new leggos come and only big money spenders could get them. I can deal with the profit driven mindset of these companies.... but almost every other game that I have played, that used a strong monetization model, still felt like they gave a shit about the regular, and ftp, players. They would have their events and offers meant to gouge the spenders, but along with that you would get a fair bit of content meant to entertain and reward everyday players. Plarium, though, feels like a different animal..... it's the only game company where I openly suspect every little thing they drop into the game, is meant to rip me off, or trick me into wasting my resources.... every little thing. Before I participate in anything, I have to scour the calendars and forums for coming events, or read the fine print of every news item because the important bits seem to be hidden where most would just miss it. It's becoming almost too exhausting to play... it's like playing a game with someone that always cheats... an having to scrutinize every action they take in case 'this' one is where they do it.

I focused on Hydra for the better part of this year and was planning on switching over to creating a solid PVP setup of champs. Now my Hydra teams are struggling and it takes multiple restarts to get any decent damage in. I want to still hit the 1.2 billion for the personal chest. It’s consuming the time I could have spent on PVP. I don’t do live arena at all and struggle to stay in silver 2 in 3v3 arena.

Hi guys! I have played another game for this company for almost 13 years (2012). I will tell you right now, you will be frustrated at increasing rates from here on. They are kings at condescending approaches to advancement in the games. They do very little to actually understand the player experience verses their ego about their own input. They will not totally commit to making your frontline experience realistic and fun. I have always held out hope that they would listen to the players more in order to save the game but that does not actually occur. What they do is dig the big pocket player into even deeper holes as they squeeze every last drop then those players quit. I spent many an email exchange with their customer support over the years and those people are generally very friendly and do their best to fix issues on individual basis. But anything involving the developers and programmer at their level is usually debunked as they know best. They went so far as to publicly announce that they would no longer take player suggestions but they will take their money. I mean...what?! lol

It's really sad to see. My clan has practically disbanded now, I started the game in July last year and spoke daily with most of those members. Not only that, I was finally at a point where I could compete in Hydra Clash and focus on the End Game content - right when I'm debating quitting because of the painful updates in the past few months. Truly sucks, I hope they just flat-out reverse the Hydra changes and nerf Trunda instead. I'd rather them directly nerf champions 1 by 1 than destroying the ENTIRE game mode.

Hey guys… all these “anti-player/anti-fun” changes are the ripple effects we are just now feeling from their switch to “profit mode”. That ship has sailed and its profit-mode or bust, and well, the state of the game is what you get. People need to quit the game over this. My relationship with Plarium is tanked, but if there is to be any hope for change we need to make them feel it in the only way that they will notice. Stop spending. Simple. You top plat whales think you’re a badass at Raid. Do what you do as a F2P and then you will have my true respect. Try that for a few months and see how it goes?

Abilities on champs, fights against the bosses…everything else ( playing for 7 days so far ) is more visually impressive and the campaign story is voice acted. Its still not released but can be played on their pc launcher if you preregister. That will get you free legendary. Second legendary you get during the campaign and third on 7th day as daily login reward.

I left raid a few months back and its been one of my best decision. Never regret it one bit. But i stay subscribed to raid content creator because i feel like raid have one of the best community. Started playing COC again and recently they made a change and remove the skin on their gold pass and the community was enraged. The best thing is Supercell listen to the community and gave us what we wanted within just a few days.

I have played Raid now almost 5,5 years, never missing a day, always doing all the basic stuff and then some... (on multiple accounts as well), Now lately, i'm just logging in and doing just CB daily and hydra weekly, mostly just for the clan (i'm the clan leader) and i'm skipping everything else. In a hurry to get offline and play some other games that interest me a lot more and provide a lot more fun for me. So yeah for me Raid is going down and fast. No time to spend so much time every day doing content I'm not interested at all like, like I have never played Live arena or Siege :)

The Arena stuff is what killed my determination. They got rid of the bots and I think they should double the points you earn to progress faster if you aren't an endgame account. It takes way too much effort and too long to get your account to a decent level for the more endgame because you're gated by arena.

The change for Hydra affecting the rest of the game it part of what killed it for me. The other part is in spite of people saying CB drop rates having changed I'm getting a quarter of sacreds and a lot less of void shards as I use to. With the in game inflation of everything It has just made any progress outside of spending almost non-existent. I whaled to enhance my accounts growth and not just to break even. The forced Live Arena too was a total killer, so I'm not getting my pity book from that either. I've stopped whaling and play just enough of the game for my clan to get rewards from CB. If enough quit I'm done with the game.

Brutal drop rates, in game inflation and the number of champs in game making it almost impossible to getting a wanted champ have just killed this game but the bad business practice faith demonstrated by plarium has finally sunk into everyones brain.....theres no hope anymore.

I'm F2P (which ocasionally buy energy or gem pack, really few euros a year) and I'm frustrated that I don't have game currencies for every fusion, event, etc.. also if you FINALLY pull a Legendary from shards you've been saving for months and it's totally useless piece of s**t you got instantly frustrated.. one thing I find hilarious is that you mention things they need to add. Like an update on the gear sorting and lvs. I play Watchers of Realms as well, which has been out for just over a year now. And I just noticed they added to their game now. And it's right when people started to ask for it. They listen to their players and actually do updates on the game for their players. Plarium is probably the only game now that doesn't do that. And probably wont' have to, if they keep this up.

Thanks for the video. Just downgraded my optimizer to free. Only reason I was a paid member was trying to progress in hydra. Now that hydra is gone for me there is no longer a reason to play. Going from a big over all nerf to also killing ally atk and multihit teams was the drop for me. Was pissed off at the first change but swallowed it and built a mikage/ninja team to continue to one key NM. Now they nerfed that too. Can still one key but the fun for me was making damage. Will not rebuild a team again and when all content now is on auto there is no point in playing this game. Nothing to feel good about. No progression. Clan members was gonna keep playing because they already invested so much in this game. That argument dont work for me. Just because I paid a lot (for me) dont mean I will continue to do so. Really dont matter if you are a whale or a ftp. Money and time or just lots of time for nothing. These last changes was the drop for me. Did everything on auto a couple of days but where is the fun in that? Doing my hydra keys not because I in any way want to but only for the clan. Nope, no more. This is a game. Its supposed to be fun. After the last changes its not fun anymore so to you who keep playing. Whats irritating, is that the 90% of heroes are useless. For a specific content to complete, u need that same 20-30 heroes. A u never use the rest. And they just bringing in more and more. U can barely get mythical ones. I am playing a year in, and i dont have one. And i am not willing to spend money on chances of possibility to get one. I only buy energy sometimes. They could do synergeis between heroes. A few exist in the game. I think they could revitalize the game.

My main Acct turns 6-yrs old this month. When I started the Dungeons only went to level 20, no Hard mode. Dwarves were the final faction. There was no DT, IT, SD, PS, Hydra, LA, Sintranos, etc., etc., etc. We weren't happy with the energy cap then & it remains unchanged to this day. No souls, no FG, no Empowerment. We've asked and asked for fixes to all sorts of QoL from the Token Trader, to the Market Place via extra Lvls for the Minotaur... all ignored, then they ruin Hydra, twice over, make LA mandatory & wonder why people are unhappy. I started playing King Arthur & Dragonheir just this last week, having not looked at another RPG for the last 6-yrs. Many players have only hung on because they don't want to turn their backs on the vast amount of time & resources already invested (like Gamblers chasing their losses); but, everyone has a breaking-point & many, many players are just one straw away from breaking the proverbial camel's back. :(
