I'm glad that you liked The Knife of never letting go. For YA, it's pretty brutal at times but still a good solid trilogy. I personally loved Oathbringer despite it's length due to the epic final portion in the book, it's number 1 for me. As for Sisters of the snake, it looks interesting and I'll add it to my TBR. As for my favorite book for August, I have to say that Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi was amazing imo. It's a nonfiction graphic novel that deals with a young girl that grows up during the Islamic revolution in Iran during the 1979-1980s. It made me emotional at times and I laughed as well.

@@endofsight9841 I will definitely be continuing the Chaos Walking series... I have to know what happens 🤗 Definitely agree that the ending of Oathbringer was pretty epic! I still think Words of Radiance is my fav of the series... but maybe I'll change my mind after the next one... ya never know 🤗

I also read Oathbringer in August! Totally agree with the criticisms you mentioned, and I also loved the end, I could not put it down once we got to that battle sequence! Words of Radiance is my favorite in the series though 😊 Ooo, hope you love The Familiar and Addie LaRue!! I’m so ready for fall reads 😍

Great wrap up and that’s amazing you were able to get through so many big books! I know exactly what you mean about the mental energy not being there as much to make more videos because I am in the same place. I have found that one video a week works really well for me even though I kind of wish I could do more. Maybe some day 😂. I still haven’t read Addie LaRue either, but it’s on my list! I’m going to put the twin sister book on my TBR as I love a good twin story. I still haven’t read any Brandon S, but I did start my first Sarah J Mass book yesterday (ACOTAR)! I really enjoyed your wrap and great job, as always, with saying what you liked and didn’t like about each book!

Awesome video Kris! I’ve had the Knife of Never Letting Go on my list for a while. Glad you liked Oathbringer despite the length. It was a bit overlong. Addie Larue and The Familiar are both on my list.

It was me who had Oathbringer ruin the series for me 😂 I'm glad it didn't for you though! I never want books to be disliked just because i dislike them ❤ It is awesome that you still find time to make one video a week with your busy schedule, Kris 🤗

@TheSecretofNym Maybe you would have liked it better if it was 500 less pages 🤣🤣🤣

Good job getting through all those chunkers. I read The Knife of Never Letting Go last year and was surprised how much I ended up liking it. I actually have book 2 in my pile of possibilities for this month. That sisters book sounds cute. I will have to add i to the TBR.

@@krisreviews Yeah me too! I'm hoping I remember enough from the first book that everything makes sense when I do get to it.
