Love it. My favorite run. A right of passage in NC. Looked like it was running around +14" range if I had to guess. Sorry you had to witness the trash. It's a popular place to lounge by the river because it's so accessible.

One of the ledge holes you surfed mid-video I guess has a huge cave behind it, like 40? feet deep - had me puckered when you just giggled in and out of it. Fun to watch

A clean 30-40 footer was just down the road, literally, if Wilson's was that level, harpers falls, and as I said before, gragg prong, was 100 percent running, as gragg is a trib to Wilson's and wilsons was clearly plenty high. I grew up in that area. Very fond of the grandfather mountain escarpment and all the creeks flowing from it.
