I think not all the yellow notes are from Puro, the developer just didn't think people would mistake them because he probably has Puro write in a "strange" way purposefully, since he taugh himself the human language. I don't think Puro has any memory or were involved with the research previously.

Throughout the game you can see various people in the photos, and they all have white skin, so either 1: they all are on deaths door, or 2: the artist simply draws people without coloring their skin. SPOILER So I know Chinese and I played the original game in Chinese. The ending in which Lin escapes and "dies", the game seems to suggest that it's malnutrition that finally kills Lin. There's nothing out there to eat and Lin has been running for dear life for hours. He also knows that he'd probably fucking die when making the choice.

I am fairly new to this game, but I already lovved it. It's sad that there are so many biased hate reviews on this game. Sure, many of the sences in the game are quite suggestive, though not explicit, and some of the levels can be very unfair and frustrating with their randomness, but you really need to play through the entire game and achieve the true ending to really understand the story. Personally, I think this game really captured the essence of true friendship, as well as evoking compassion for many of the characters, especially Dr.K He is an antagonist, but not a villian. His actions can be cruel, but very rational. In the end, I neither want to dissapoint him nor Puro. Both desicions will be bad, in their own ways. To be honest, him and this game reminded me of Asgore and Undertale a lot, as well as OneShot.

The thing with RPGMaker games is not all texts that appear on one map are necessarily saved on that map, that's why I didn't notice the untranslated pens. "Gum beasts" was an accident. I wasn't sure what to call them, so I usually said "rubber", but when it was decided to call them "Latex bests" I simply replaced "rubber" with "latex". Missed the gum ones. About the virus and the endings in the original: In the original game the info about the Pale virus isn't there, you can not read this specific clipboard, Colin just thinks to himself that he doesn't wanna read it. Colin absolutely is very sick at the end of the Original. A note mentions that a late-stage symptom of the virus is paleness and near the end Puro notes that you are even paler than usual. And in the true ending you do respond to Puro at the end, while in the leave ending you don't. Additionally, I think Dr.K mentions you receiving brief treatment for the virus before leaving in the true ending(As unlike in humans the virus is easy to cure in animals).
