The buick with a nailhead at 22:00 that's a 62' Electra and the "Morris Minor" is actually a VolvoPV444/544. My granpa had one of these when my dad was a kid. Thanks Mortske 🙂

I grounded myself from going to such events, learned years ago I have no will power. It's just not in my best interest at my age to attend, cause I don't need no more projects that'll never be finished by me. I've several Ferguson, and Massey Ferguson tractors to prove it if I ever get to doubting myself. All I have to do is look around the barn. Sad but true phase of life we all have to accept sooner or later, but true none the less. Your young and still full of cold snacks, and you've got number of years to go before you either get to where you can't, or become bored with twisting wrenches. Hope that you go at it as long as you're still enjoying yourself. Scratch ole Duff for me.

I've actually noticed several of the different car guys around YT using one another's sayings on occasion! They're definitely learning them from somewhere! I've been lightly searching fb market place for a set of 15" chrome deep dish rear rims and narrower fronts to match. I got an 85 gp that i want that look you don't like, wide tires sticking out in back all jacked up. 😂😂 Good finds!!

For the Moroso valve covers, if anodizing is a non-starter, try polishing them and then spray them with a tinted clear. Should give pretty near the same effect.

Haven't been to a swap meet in years , sure do miss them always had a good time . Rode my '41 knuckle to Keene NH for the antique motorcycle swapmeet one year little over 200 miles on an old knuckle. I dont think i would do that again even if i still had it

My Dad bought a 1956 Nomad in 1958, paid $2,250.00 Two Tone Cherry & White, Coolest Car I ever saw, Tailgate nostalgia....he sold it to a radio announcer in 1966. can't even imagine what it would be worth today...Rock on Mr. Mortske.....

Thanks Mortske for this awesome overview and slowing the video to be able to see things for sale in fine details. Lot of Chevy stuff but not so much for 59 or 60 Buick. I do like the aftermarket bell housings to swap over from automatic to a manual transmission very handy to have even if your not building race cars. Sometimes a manual transmission in certain situations is way good. Watching this channel for 4 years has taught me more than one guy was able to tell me in 5 years.

Those valve covers are probably from a dirt track car with the bars around the motor bracing the radiator and the core support and then they would rivet sheetmetal on the car and also attach it to the pipes and it was probably wrecked motor swapped front end reworked and ran again, because totally redoing another similar dirt track car is usually too much work so the car is usually just repaired and slapped back together to re run it at track..

20:51 72' Gran Torino with a 351C & a four speed was a great ripper with the day two and the second week bolt on goodies! Headers, intake and 4 barrel much help and ran Great!

Been messing with an 89' suburban, broke down a week ago , new ECM ,fuel pump , fuel pump relay, distributor, coil , grounded the motor again. And it still dies and hard to start ! I just bought an 87'motor with a rod hanging out of it. But it has everything to convert it to a 4 barrel carb. No more fuel injection. I feel beat , Thanks for the video to ease my mind some , it's been a bad week !!
