I’ll give Laurel a little bit of credit she did eventually say she didn’t want to see Cara in the final. That’s what it comes down to. When she say Ancho she actually means Competitor. She see that Cara is scratching closer and closer to beating her. One thing I am noticing with Era 2 is that this is the revenge of War of Worlds 2 with Johnny Laurel and Cara. If Paulie would’ve stayed the house would’ve split into Johnny and Laurel side than Cara and Paulie side. It will be interesting to see how CT influence the house if he doesn’t get hurt.

She lost all credibility with her performance on the All Stars 1 final in the back of the pack with Big Easy. Jemmye was outpacing her.

I was concerned having this many eliminations right at the beginning of the season would mean we lose entertaining people and unfortunately I was right. Losing Amanda, Katie, and Paulie right at the beginning is such a loss from an entertainment value standpoint. I am also concerned about these karma points.. as much as I love the pettiness of it, it better not impact the final challenge like all stars 4. I don’t want the integrity of the competition in a big season like this to be messed with.

I feel that the karma points are going to have some deciding factor in a team change up at some point. The highest point earners are captains, or teams are decided based on points, like a team bad guys versus nice guys. I hoped they learned their lesson from all stars and don't allow it to give such an advantage at the end game.

It just sucks when you have such small statured competitors going up against low-key giants. It would have been nice to give some type of even playing field, but again, a lot of these smaller competitors do better at puzzles than the ones that focus on strength.

@@LadyTDMV I did feel bad for Nurys in that regard but then Derrick was able to beat Mark. I also consider people who are physically strong getting puzzle eliminations against puzzle strong challengers, the same can be argued there but no one ever feels as bad about that because there’s no physical contact. Maybe endurance should be the real equalizers since one doesn’t have to be the most physically big or strong but they can be agile and fast. You gotta be somewhat physical and in shape for these things to get really far.

The only bad thing about this episode is that most of these eliminations were stomps. Only take shelter was a close battle. For all the fight Mark and Katie showed they were still beat 2-0. Theo demolished Paulie which makes sense because Paulie is the third smallest guy and Theo is 6'7 and probably has at least 50 lbs on him. Olivia pretty much destroyed Nurys. Balls in you had obvious weight and size advantages as well. Leroy isn't as big physically as he used to be and Tony did say he was in the best shape of his life.

let’s be honest not too many people this season were beating Theo in Hall Brawl. i give props to Paulie for playing his game and not trying to weasel his way out of elimination. he went right up to Theo and said if u want me let’s go and that i respect! just sucks that he went so early but it is what it is hopefully we will see him in many more seasons to come. as for Laurel i’m so sick of her. how many times did she flip flop for her reasons for putting Cara in. She’s an anchor, she holds me back, she’s a goood competitor that i want gone. Lastly i hope these points that eliminated players give to the active plays doesn’t turn into the same scenario as the All Stars 4 Final which gave Laurel her win on a silver platter. all these points should do is give players some kinds of advantage in the challenges. i strongly believe that once u make it to the Final the only advantage u should get if Any, is for something u do in the Final. i hate it though when they get assistance from eliminated players within the final bc that is Bs. some players get attacked all season and then they make a final and then they get into an unfair situation during the final bc someone else got all these extra advantages. so i just hope this whole point system doesn’t benefit anyone who makes the Final but that will probably be exactly what they are for.

The fact that Cara has so many friends this season rather than haters (aside from her own era) is refreshing to see. I’m banking on Laurel having another meltdown and screaming in Cara’s face. I think it was a complete waste to have these "eras" and then not have them compete as teams. They immediately had everyone turn against each other which honestly, was a huge bummer for me after seeing so many older faces again and being excited to see them. I absolutely adore Katie and was so sad to see her out so early especially when I am so sick of seeing Aneesa's out of shape butt every freaking season. Amanda is hysterical and was sad about her and Kelly Anne going home too. I do wish they had given some puzzles to era 1 and 3 (and maybe 4) so that it could have been slightly more fair for the women but at least Katie and Amanda made it entertaining!

It's infuriating that they hyped up the era's and this season, to only see that they won't be staying as a team for very long. Getting rid of 8 competitors in the second episode, with no redemption house, is frustrating.

Cory doesn't need Amanda at all. She's actually a liability that will get him targeted if he sides with her. He's a good physical player with a very good social game. He reminds me of Derrick. If he played in the era with all those team seasons the way that Derrick did, I think Cory would be a multiple-time champion by now.

Amanda ruined her own game by being her usual nasty self. Not only was she nasty straight to Tori and Cory's faces, who are the people in power who are deciding weather or not to throw her in, she threatened to throw all the daily challenges if she got voted in a came back, she's one of the weakest links on their team and possibly the whole cast of S40, and Cory would have tanked his own game by taking her side. Amanda is a useless ally. Cory would have been stupid NOT to throw her in.

Just insane eliminations all around the biggest shock was when Tony beat Leroy in balls in elimination just was literally pushed Leroy around which had me shocked overall as a whole. The hall brawl that era 4 was in was dope theo definitely trucked through Paulie and absolutely dominate him to get the win. The second hall brawl between Olivia and nurys was really lacking luster. I was thinking after nurys wanted to really show Olivia once in for all that she's the better competitor but she didn't gave a good effort in the second round and trying to give it everything she got but at the end it wasn't enough.

Too many eliminations and no cliffhangers, BRILLIANT! I might have an unpopular opinion, but the cast might have been better with contestants who were legends, whether for right or wrong reasons, but who marked the history of the challenge: Wes, Camila, Amanda, Zach, Jenna, Hunter, and of more recently some of the Brits like Kyle, Georgia, Zara Z, Joss. The Take Shelter elimination for Era 2 was amazing. I loved that the men and women competed at the same time. Once Cara finished you could still hear everyone cheering for Brandon and Ryan. I thought that as pretty sweet.

Great episode. Jodi/Aneesa were gonna beat Katie; Derek is a pole wrestle king. Furthermore, Cara cut it close (but CT came in clutch), and Ryan was lucky that he didn't do a physical elimination vs Brandon. Secondly, Tony surprised me against Leroy, and Nia was a lock to win against Amanda. Thirdly, Theo bodied Paulie, and Olivia was favored in a hall brawl. Oddly enough, Nurys' best chance in a hall brawl was Kaycee; and she would've got cooked way worst vs Jenny. Post elimination, Era 4 looks really good. Also, Era 1 leaned out their roster. The karma points are interesting; it turns it into a popularity contest (similar to Big Brother). Meanwhile, Laurel & Johnny are gonna have their hands full with Cara, and the team dynamic might be a problem. All in all, good eliminations, and I'm surprised that Leroy got dominated the way he did.

I think it might be cool if all the eliminations this seasons were repeats from other seasons. Like the backpack, figure eight, looper, the wrecking wall, just to name a few, and some sort of puzzle/memory ones. Even the dice one from cutthroat could be an equalizer one and some type of endurance one that had previously.
