Utahraptor looks freaking amazing!! I feel like it’s frontiers way of saying “here a paleo accurate version of the monstrosity you already have.” I’m also excited to see concavonator come to the game because it’s was so blatantly “there” in the Hammond trophy room. Glad to see it finally added to the mix. Now for the lovely little microceratus!

The hybrid pack should be the biggest DLC in the game, with 6 species instead of the usual 4 • Sino-Spino (from Camp Cretaceous) • Malusaurus (from an early draft of Jurassic World) • Ultimasaurus (from a cancelled toy line) • Spinoraptor (From JWE1) • Stegoceratops (From JWE1) • Ankylodocus (From JWE1)

@tylercline9091 Utahraptor doesn't make Pyroraptor completely useless though. Pyroraptor is good if you wan a smaller feathered Raptor. Like if you're making an exhibit based on Canada and want it to have Dromaeosaurus or Saurornitholestes, you could still use Pyro for that.

I love that Frontier isn’t done adding feathered dinosaurs after the Feathered Species pack. The Utahraptor looks absolutely GORGEOUS and is easily my new favorite dromaeosaur in the game (Pyroraptor can firmly get bent now) Concavenator is finally making his appearance after being shafted for SO long, Tarbosaurus is here for the canon purists, and Gigantoraptor gets to join Therizinosaurus and Deinocheirus in the “Giant Asian Weirdo with giant claws” club I genuinely couldn’t imagine a better pack

I've actually grown to like JWE2 Pyroraptor over the months. The colours especially are just so great, and I've gotten somewhat used to the ugly face. I'll probably still keep it in my parks (the ones that don't already include every species) instead of just outright replacing it simply due to the continued dearth of appropriately feathered species. We're still lacking good feathered alternatives for Proceratosaurus, Troodon, the ornithomimosaurs, and all of the pterosaurs aside from Dimorphodon, Jeholopterus, Quetzalcoatlus (so all of the pterosaurs that aren't super tiny or super massive). If the game had appropriately feathered theropods and pterosaurs (aside from movie designs or made feathered variants for them) to begin with, I probably wouldn't value feathers as much.

Automatic hatchery is so nice. It was always annoying when one dinosaur would die, dipping the needed population down just one too less, which then causes raptors, parasaurs and many others to instantly stress and break out.

Even though I never played JPOG before, BestInSlot did a video recently about six features from JPOG that JWE2 should have and it seems some of them are coming true like a Site B mode, automatic hatcheries and decorations like benches and bins.

Once I saw the Utahraptor... I was shocked, it looks like something out of Prehistoric Kingdom than anything. Also about the free update, what excites me more are the variants for Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus and Pteranodon. My brain literally went lwith the "Hallelujah" music effect. Shame that Triceratops 1993 didn't have variants, but at least Stegosaurus did and I'm feeling happy about, despite what I said yesterday. Good on you Frontier. Good on you

Don't forget the JP and JP3 era raptors, the feathered T. rex, the JP3 Ankylosaurus, and the Dominion Parasaurolophus. Those should also be variants.

Gigantoraptor was an unexpected surprise but a welcome one! As awesome as it is to some canon dinos like Tarbo and Concavenator finally be in the game and they both look fantastic by the way.... I'm really happy that we finally got a Utahraptor! Now we finally have the big three Dromaeosaurids in the game, and I couldn't be happier! Can't wait to get this DLC. The free update is also really good as always!

I am absolutely *ECSTATIC* that we *FINALLY* have skin customization on the 2001 Pteranodon! The patterning on it is absolutely GORGEOUS too! The other new Variants are awesome as well (especially the 2001 Brachiosaurus!), although I find it quite peculiar that the 1993 Triceratops was omitted from getting a Variant... That's another design that would definitely benefit from being customizable. Gigantoraptor is one of my absolute favorite prehistoric animals, but I honestly didn't think we'd get it in Evolution 2 officially! Super excited to see it, and like you said, I'm hoping and expecting it to be an omnivore.

Definitively Utahraptor is my favourite species added. Pyroraptor was cool as feathered dromaeosaurid but as JW movie dinosaur its design was overall ugly (especially its face), but now we have a proper accurate dromaeosaurid and its beautifully. I hope for some very good skin patter and colours! ❤️

I just love all of additions, the 4 dinos look incredibly cool and I can't wait to use them in the game. As for the free update I want to be optimistic and not see it as a 'last update', more like Frontier's way to say 'okay, we messed up with the anniversary update; so here, have some more free stuff to make up for it'. I hope in 2024 we can get more dinos, my personal request would be a sauropod pack, adding a small, medium and big bois. I just love those long neck dinos

I do quite like that this pack has an accurate feathered, "Missing Leftover", a unique JP-style Frontiermade, and an inaccurate but still feathered dinosaur. Something for everybody. Makes me kinda hope the probable Prey species pack will feature a fluffy Tupandactylus, we would benefit from a mid-size fluffy Pterosaur imo, and getting a very distinct crest would be neat. Other than that and Microceratus tho I have no clue what else a cretaceous prey/herbivore pack could possibly have left to offer. I guess maybe a Stegourus-tailed Ankylosaur, or one of the weirder Ceratopsians?

I was hoping for an expansion pack since we are way overdue a playable story expansion but I’m over the moon with Gigantoraptor, the automated hatcheries are a gift from heaven too. I always wanted my dinosaurs in my Site B parks to be able to hunt and eat naturally but I didn’t want to have to keep refilling them after the carnivores killed them all, so I would usually just disable hunting, but then it would look quite odd with the dinosaurs just hanging around eachother

We can actually take a lot from this. One, the goat theory was correct, which is wild. And two, the theory that the missing canon species will be introduced through multiple packs is probably true too. I would not be shocked if we get three more packs like; herbivorous pack, hybrid pack, and Cenozoic pack. It would introduce microceratus, the missing hybrids and spinoceratops, and Smilodon

The pack and free update are great! I was waiting for so long for the pteranodon 2001, allo 2022 and dimorphodon 2022 to get a variant and they are here now! The tarbo and the other species in the pack are also great additions to the roster!

Depending on whether it is a “Herbivore Pack” in general or a “Cretaceous Herbivore Pack” more specifically, I can see such a pack also including dinosaurs like Protoceratops (or Zuniceratops), Plateosaurus, and Shantungosaurus.

Finally a Utahraptor!! This is probably the only game where I have bought every single DLC pack. I hope Frontier considers putting Planet Zoo on console, I know I would throw money at that as well. I would love to see Archaeopteryx in a future update, but this pack/update sounds pretty exciting!

As a CC fan, i do like seeing the Tarbo here. Now i just hope that it makes the same clicking noises as it did in the shuw, which is my favorite thing about it. I'll overlook the mountrous design, as long as it makes those clicks My favorite is between Gigantoraptor and Utahraptor. Utah looks straight out of paleoart, and Giganto was my last remaining wishlist species. SO GLAD they're both feathered btw

Concavenator is a fan favorite, I love how my boys Utahraptor and Gigantoraptor are gonna make a debut, the Tarbosaurus looks pretty good, and I love the new features their adding. they did double DLC's for JWE1 around both Christmas periods the game was under active development. But they haven't done that last year for JWE2. So I would consider the odds low Edit to add: the skin variant for the Tarbo is in this update I how the picture like 4 times :P

Hatchery Automation is a huge quality of life for creating a "SITE B" . One of the main deterrents from building it was the constant need to repopulate dinosaurs manually once they get hunted by carnivores. Now with this, you can truly enjoy sitting back and letting LIFE roam free haha!

You can see them sitting on the benches that are attached to the arrival points and amenities so they have the sitting animations for guests there already. Even if the guest don't get up and down, but just sit there to look like they are being used would be nice.

I’m glad these are all larger species. I want the Microceratus eventually for completion reasons, but since you spend much of this game zoomed out, most of those little guys are so hard to see!
