A solid business plan for you - Instead of that online course, make the course available in " Join" button of youtube. It has 3 benefits 1. It will be really affordable for a lot of genuine learners. A large chunk of people will join youtube than your pvt course. May be 70 to 80 times more. 2. As viewers will pay monthly, some may actually end up paying more than your course 3. Videos run best on KZbin. I am saying this from my personal experience. I have taken a handful of online courses and i have joined some youtube channel. I must say the education and learning contents run best on youtube. Anyway, I watch you a lot though i never ever purchased a guitar. One thing i must admit the pedagogy skill you posess is really exceptional and it must be prized.

You have been my first guitar teacher. I respect you and totally agree with each and every word that you have said in the video. People take things for granted. It is just so rude and inconsiderate to put hate comments. You are such a great teacher and a wonderful human being. Some people may dislike your decision right now but most of us understand that you have to earn a living also and the quality content that you have made with all of your hardwork deserves more appreciation and honesty more money also. When I saw how someone was mean to just because you didn't answer his question, I really felt bad as if someone said it to my own teacher. It just showed how stupid and mannerless people can be. It doesn't say anything about you other than that you are a great teacher and you deserve a lot of respect and love. I hope you get more success and support with your new plan.

I’ve been trying to learn guitar for a year now. The place i live in there’s no chance of learning it physically so i had to depend on KZbin to learn it but I couldn’t find a effective one. I’m a student so I don’t have that ability to pay a thousand taka(Bangladeshi money) on learning them, nor do i know the way how to do it, because this thing is not common in our area. So when I found your videos, i was relieved that I finally found something extremely effective and now i can finally learn guitar. And i am thankful to you. I was halfway through your videos, then i saw there was some videos missing. I was disheartened. I’m feeling like the desire of my learning guitar is going to remain unfulfilled once again. But i do not feel any hatred towards you. In fact I’m thankful to you. The amount of knowledge I gained from your videos, thank you for. Your reasoning is completely okay. And i agree with you. Your course was so detailed and extremely good. I believe it’s hard to find courses like. I’ve been searching for some, so i can tell actually You know what? But as joker said.." Despite having so many resources, It’s so difficult to get an amazing coach. Forget online even offline classes doesn’t provide such mentorship. In Mumbai, if you find a teacher even 10X lesser than Adit, he will charge you a bomb. It’s been 15 days for me on the LG 30 days module and I have been finding myself lucky to get this sort of education on guitar. Adit Sir, You are an amazing teacher and a kind Human being. Keep inspiring with your work.

Hey, I had being learning from your stage one course and I will have it say, it was veryy helpful and in the last 3 month I have learnt alot from you. I do agree that people should not hate you, it is your content which is really good and it does not make sense for you to work so hard and not being able to monetise the same. HOWEVER, on youtube it is difficult to make money in general as the people who try to learn through youtube generally want to go it for free, there are other creators too who do not charge or ask for money, so making a living from youtube just via donations is difficult. You will have to know there is a lot of free competition here, people generally try to make content and earn from monetising the views, I hope you have been monetising from the youtube ads as it is a major source of income from youtubers. Also sponsor posts is something you can look into, I have been looking for a good Capo but do not know any brands or as a matter of fact, I do not know any guitar brands. They would love to sponsor you and get branding. You may also check this youtuber by the name- Guitar Goddess and see how she has been able to monetise her skills. I think in today's world skill is important but being able to earn from these skills is equally important. I hope this helps you out :)

In fact I started your course few months back and the first thing came in mind is like: "it should be a paid course" so you don't feel guilty that you made it paid..... sir, I think there are certain things I want to talk about here: 1. Teachers like JustinGuitar have their entire courses free on youtube. You can argue that they are not as good as yours, but that is what everyone thinks to be honest. 2. If you are putting up a voluntary-only donation option, please do not expect that people will donate unless they really really want to. If you ask any other famous youtubers on how many ppl donate them, their number would be small as well. 3. Yes, people's financials may not be good. Yes you had 190k viewers. But, lot of them may have come to your video when just surfing videos. Lot of them may have seen your channel for the first time - why would they donate in those cases ? I don't think it is right to expect money from us, given that you had put it as voluntary-only. 4. There are a lot of great guitar courses online which are free. Honestly, if you make your videos private, ppl will just not buy them, for the most part. I feel if you let your channel grow by keeping the videos free, it would benefit you in the longer run. Immediate returns on youtube videos is not an ideal expectation. all this aside, i want to say i really love your videos !!

Hey Adit, it's been a week when I found your channel and was thinking that at last finally a true artist is here giving out lessons for the sake of art. And to be honest when I saw those private videos in the course I felt sad that why? Ans then I came across your musical journey video and then this one. Now your move is totally justified. Even though I can't afford your courses but whatever material you have here for free is wayyyyy above any other youtuber so I might not join your paid courses but I really want to request you that PLEASE keep making videos the way you do, I am totally astounded by point of view regarding easy tutorial lessons and the actual way to play taught in your videos. This challenge for the sake art against the money minded youtubers is I guess the biggest leap in Indian youtube community. Please keep making video. Adit! U are offering your effort, your time, your priceless skill.. Even if you don't want to charge for music, that's ok but you must charge to ensure commitment and decency of the people who join your lessons. It's just about priority. What we want to pay for. People don't think before doing Starbucks or buying a jeans for 10k if they like it, no bargaining happens there but if they want to learn a soft skill, or something subtle, they expect it for free. That's the tendency. For learning something so subtle, so intense, if it's a priority, one will somehow manage to learn.. If not by paying then from some other channel or reaching out to you or somehow .. And you gotta eat too.. You gotta live too... Money is not the goal, but for sure Money is the means to survival. It's very decent of you to share the reason but you don't owe any explanation to anyone. You gotta do what works for you.. Thank you! Bro I am a son of an Int'l musician and I play guitar too. I have seen lot of ups and down growing up and it's really tough. It's very unfortunate that musicians are at the bottom of this chain. Any artist for that matter. I understand what you did is not what you wanted to do it's just what you had to do. I wish you were there when I was learning but it's okay. There is one thing I can do though, I can recommend your channel to folks who want to learn from me because I face a lot of time constraints owing to my profession. Wow, i have just listen your experience. I am very new to your channel and today i am seeing this without knowing which lessons you made private. I was also a passionate teacher, when i was doing my master's and i want to share that i have always kept highest fees for my classes without thinking of others, Adi bro it's wonderful things what you did, people should always pay for good knowledge. Now i want to say something about practical difficulties with most of the Indians including me as well, we always prefer to do things by paying efforts. And donating word itself give you carless feeling because without any efforts we are just getting that, so you need to make public to give effort to learn something.
