People got made cases of FIMO (Furious I missed out). It’s just bitterness. The real fans will stick around, find good deals. Even 151 came back to msrp 8 months after it was out. Prismatic will too when team rocket comes out and attention slips.

I like to remind the timmys who say it will be printed into the ground that they printed a huge amount of 151 and it got multiple restocks and new products over the last year and the etb is still over $100 it's simple supply and demand. Even if it gets a reprint or several reprints it won't mater if there's still the demand to eat it up

I bought a bunch of Prismatic at a good price, not a Timmy. Players are going to have a hard time getting these cards. It will get reprinted into a parallel universe. I will keep buying more.

People always say Japanese is trash and overprinted meanwhile the country is smaller then most us states how would there be more than the amount printed in English?? The quality is better Japanese looks better on the cards too

As someone that has been living here in Japan over 8 years. this isn't taken into account enough. Japan prints for Japan only and everyone and their mom is using fake JP addresses and third party sites etc to buy out a large portion of everything here. People here know everyone will pay high for it bc they can never wait for English / people here will charge higher anyways bc it gets to a point sometimes where its like well I have this thing and if I sell it I prob won't be able to get more, so Charge high.

This is such a based take. I don't think it'll be possible to print to demand for this set, for all the reasons you named but ALSO because we're seeing a huge influx of new collectors coming in from Pocket. I know /a lot/ of my friends personally that have never opened cards but downloaded Pocket, and they're all becoming interested in irl collecting or moving to proper competitive TCG. A specialty set focused on EEVEE is basically made in a lab to fully push normies into the hobby

I'm the same as your friends. Starts only with pocket then suddenly have the urge to collect the cards. Right now I'm waiting for my singles. Next year will be my first box/case purchase. I'm collecting Japanese cards because of the pokeball art at the back and the quality. I'm chasing the Gardevoir SAR. Hopefully my Genshin luck will be with me on that day.

@@HitTheBreaks-TCG I like Gardevoir arts. Along with other arts tbh. I think Imma buy a bunch more sleeves for every cards. XD My planning is to get Gardevoir/Kirlia/Ralts > Snorlax/Munchlax > Eevee/all the "eon" variant.

Ive got a few Prismatic ETBs ordered ima probably hold sealed, But I do personally think the set is "overhyped", Pros: Eevee focused set, Master/pokeball reverse holos Cons: Other half of set is the "Future Pokemon" which isnt really the most desirable amongst collectors Potentially no eeveelutions as poke/masterball holos lack of IRs Eevee SAR will be a UPC promo This one is rly just personal gripe, but im a trainer collector and the SAR arts for trainers feel very weak this set

Tbh, a store would be stupid to not take as much as possible. Not sure they should/do care about the size of boxes for this set. I wouldn’t care if I was stocking this set in the bathroom, it’s worth the space.

It’s also less packs per box even if they are much bigger so they will sell out that much faster too, but I agree I would try to have as much as possible too 😅
