Emily I wondered why you guys don’t do like on white water they take a separate pump that they use as a super blaster to use water to cut threw that hard pack and it also helps push material into the suction dredge it will increase the amount of material you can wash

Use liquid latex and glue a piece of foam latex to his chin and fit the mask over that. Should get a water tight seal.

Emily PLEASE LISTEN ,why not weld a 1/4" inch wire snub nose frame at the entrance to your suction hose ,you could not just stop any rocks bigger than say 3" dia but also use it to ferrit out the gold (no stoppage time, no hand injuries ) ,I really wish i was out there to help,, Five pieces of wire welded the right way solves all you issues and doubles the speed at which you uncover all gold, Win, Win, Win, if i knew how i would send you a diagram i feel so dumb not being able ,sos sorry ,X Razzo

Has anybody done mapping of the sea floor with scans and hits on gold? I would expect each captain would keep track of hotspots to themselves. But if quartz and black clay layers need to be mapped and tracked by geologists or oceanographic maps could help

Good question! There are old drill logs available somewhere. But no one has mapped the ocean floor for geology for the diver dredges as far as I know. The fact is that gold could be in a quartz layer, or it could not be. It's not a rule

Do you run one diver on 8 hr shift one day and different diver the next ? Or do you have 2 divers doing 4hr shifts twice in a day ,or 3 divers each doing 3 hour shifts in the same day? Maybe that's your question.

Depends on the depth. At 30 feet or less the guys try to do 6 hour shifts. Besides that it's a factor of weather, how many guys we have, and sometimes who needs the gold the most. Alex will skip dives so the crew can get in the water because we make money when they dive, but not vice versa. It's a constant juggle trying to keep the thing running around the clock

Best experience is to meet a shark and wrestle with it a few min. Analyze then you should always stay calm from then on.or a moray ell etc then you should stay calm. I blew a hose handled that was all it took calm from then on,experience is everything.
