I love this song! Heard it live at MCM Expo May 29th when the DS world record was set! It was the first time I'd heard any of this music and it amazed me to no end that someone born and raised in england could write and produce songs in Japanese, and even pull off the J-pop look authentically! I like Bentley's style, he does that nice blend of techno, hip hop and rock, but brings a lot of the J-Rock Style in his performances/appearence. Very much so, with a little more experience and a larger healthier discogrophy, we could be seeing the birth of a British Gackt, which would please me to no end, considering i first knew him from the sonic side :P

I never realized Sonic and Sega was released back in 2010 when I use to play it on our 360. I was always under the impression it came out a few years before that. That aside I was 10 and me and my sister loved the song from the game ts brings back too many memories. Crazy to think because I kinda already knew about sonic back then, but me playing the game and reading the character bios really got me into the series. It was the start of my sonic craze phase back in like 2011-2012🤣🤝🏾💯

I know everybody can relate to this.. You are either here because this song forever lingers in your mind wondering "who sung that one song?" and finally knowing, your childhood calls back to this game/song, or you're here because as a kid this was just a song, and now it hits in a way that isn't even connected to racing in the first place. Regardless.. I remember being so young playing this game almost every day with my nephew, and sometimes even my older brother back when times were much simpler. In fact, I think I spent WAY too much time on this game then it probably even had to offer. Team Sonic Racing, even Sonic Transformers doesn't hold up to the OG, and truest superior form of a "Sonic Racing Game". You could argue "Sonic R is the TRUE OG sonic racing game!" but in terms of soundtracks, content and bonding times, this game will forever BE what Sonic Racing should of been moving forward. But this comment isn't to compare, this comment is to speak for a lot of people who still revisit this song because as a kid I would sometimes even LET the credits PLAY because the song was so touching. The cutscenes that would play showing Tails flying in, Eggman ambushing, Amigo, Ulala, and Ryo having a fun time driving, and Sonic doing what he does best, swooping in and beating Eggman, and crossing that finish line while the others zoom past behind him. (This was by memory btw.) It was a reflection of all your beloved characters having fun in a chaotic race just like we had a fun time with family playing this chaotic, and never-ending fun game. It's truly crazy because this is even in my Spotify playlist, and back then this song was just a song about racing. But now, for the people who grew up with this game, it gives me the same goosebumps as Jason Paige singing the Pokémon theme song. Eventually, I still hope and pray that one day modders will discover this game and make an expansion based on its ideas, content, and revive this game just like they are for Sonic Riders because this game more than deserves it. Thank you, Bentley Jones, Sega, and all the other licenses/companies for making this game possible. It is that of in an alternative timeline Sonic, and all his friends in this game still continue to drive to their hearts content, laugh and joke, and dropping their duties to come together again to race that one last time. And for YOU reading this if anyone.. Thank you for playing! and thank you for taking a minute to read this message.

You know, Bentley, I remember when you were planning on an official music video back in 2010 when the Sega Racing was nearing its release; you wanted fans to send fan-made videos so they could be in video, but everybody wanted to include Sega characters (which would cause copyright issues with Sega), forcing you to cancel the official music video.

I think it is a good song as well. I love how the lyrics (mainly in the second verse) can relate very, very closely to how believers in and on Jesus feel in different situations. For instance, the lyrics, "like a hand on my heart that's stopping me to breathe" relate to the demonic pressure that Christians feel when they are about to bust out of something in the spirit realm. This pressure is coming from Satan. God does NOT need the devil to teach you anything!!! God loves you and has a good plan for your life. All you have to do is believe on Him and you will be saved. John 3:16 says that God loves you soo mich that He sent His only Son to die on the cross to forgive you of your sins and heal you from EVERY sickness and disease.
