🧵 What You'll Learn:
- How to crochet the waffle stitch 📏
- How to change colors 🪡
🧶 Pattern notes:
- This pattern is written using standard US crochet terms.
- The chain 1 at the beginning of each row does not count as a stitch.
- This pattern uses front post stitches. The maker should have prior knowledge of how to do this.
- Worsted weight yarn is fine for this pattern too, however, keep in mind that your blanket will be on the smaller side - think 'lap blanket' size.
- Gauge is not important since this is a blanket. Use whatever hook is proportionate to your yarn/tension.
- You can use whatever colors you'd like! However, in this pattern, I will be referring to the specific colors I used.
- Make this blanket wider by adding foundation dc sts in any multiple of 3. Alternatively, start with a ch of any multiple of 3+2.
🧶 Materials Needed:
- HUE + ME bulky yarn from Lion Brand in these colors (or any #5 bulky yarn in 3 colors of your choice):
- Fatigues: 3 skeins (411 yards/13.2 oz)
- Desert: 3 skeins (411 yards/13.2 oz)
- Salt: 3 skeins (411 yards/13.2 oz)
**Add one additional skein of the top and bottom colors if you want to add tassels or fringe to your blanket
- 7mm (L - 10.75) crochet hook
- scissors
- tapestry needle
