So lovely to get to jam with Ryan again for a little festive tune! I came across this song earlier this year when Katy Kirby released a version on her extended album release (Cool Dry Place) and became obsessed with it without knowing it was a cover; when Phoebe Bridgers released her own rendition I realised I must be missing something lol. When Ryan proposed that we cover it, it was a no-brainer! The chords in this one are mainly inspired by Phoebe's version, with some elements from Katy's and of course, the original by The Handsome Family. hope you've had a lovely happy safe holiday season, friends!
