Another good neutral muted eyeshadow palette is the etude house autumn closet, it has those colors and a couple more (+ some glitter). I love it for everyday, natural but makes me look put together (just for reference: I have light neutral skin tone and my personal color is autumn mute)

I saw Safiya Nygaard’s color theory video and I was so glad she changed her foundation tone from warm to cool. She looks so much better now. You’re right I feel like most people are neutral to cool tone, not warm. American brands test their shades on spray tanned white people in the office. Thats why everything is yellow.

@@jacquelinegutierrez611 YES YES YES OMG YOU GET ME! I got matched by some lady at Ulta and she gave me this foundation that made me look like an orange brick. I had to wear it to prom because I had no time to find something else. But yeah, I think I look more yellow than orange but not SUPER yellow and definitely orange looks obvious on me. Cool tones make me look pink or red, and neutrals make me look dusty.

I’m leaning towards neutral and it’s hard to find a match that’s not too yellow, orange or pink, especially because I don’t have a particularly deep skin tone, so every possible foundation shade it’s too yellow or pink for me haha, I have only found one that I actually like the color match, but I’m looking for others with different finishes that also work for me and just seeing the testers, things elevate really quickly 😂

As an olive Korean it’s really sad that brands from all over the world think that neutral undertone foundations will work for olive skin tones. Especially light olive skin tones. Even brands in Sephora don’t have olive skin tone foundations. I gave up lol

I like how it says "for heroes" because it's actually gender neutral so they're not automatically excluding everyone who isn't a man. Those eyeshadows look great, most neutrals on the market tend to go darker brown or mauve but this really can look very natural. I actually contour my nose with blush, just some light neutral pink, because it's quite long and straight so instead of thinning it I prefer to blend it out.

A really great lip balm that works for any gender whether you want a masculine or feminine look is Veilment Care lip Balm in cherry. there is just a hint of color, it's not overly glossy, it feels good on, and it lasts a long time on the lips. I like the looks of the eye pallet in this vid. but I promised I would not buy any new makeup products for right now. ☺

most makeup products are either not available in my country or the "drugstore" brands from america are considered high end because of their prices. ive been trying to find a foundation that matches my skin tone for almost 7 years and they all end up looking yellow or red on me. i recently thought "do these shades even fit natural complexions?" because im pretty sure i have never seen an orange chalk colored person and it doesn't make sense for my foundation to end up looking like that once it oxidizes. i wanted to buy a blue color corrector today so that i can try to make my collection of useless foundations (the olive young like stores don't have tester products because people basically ruin them, you basically blindly shop for products) somehow work for me but guess what's missing. there's so blue color correctors available in my country. i see a lot of brands promote great shades of lipsticks, eyeliners and etc. but they for some reason never sell them in my country when it's obvious they are going to be very popular. im just going to focus on a prescription i will get from a dermatologist because skincare is extremely expensive and i accept afford to have a skincare product fail. i hope i can just get some clear skin :((
