I would recommend "Good Evening", one of their latest MVs. Or "Dream Girl", because it uses a lot of filming tricks. Their first MV was "Replay". It's from 2008, but it was reuploaded on YT in 2011. The song is very good, but the MV is quite simple (very charming though!).

This song/MV actually came out in 2010. Their oldest MV would be "Replay" their debut song of 2008 (Taemin is only 14 in that MV). Latest MVs would be from their 2018 "Story of Light" album: "Good Evening", "I Want You", "Our Page", "Countless". For Taemin, "Danger" is his solo debut in 2014 when he was 21. "Lucifer" is iconic because it was the first time a Kpop boy group developed a more technically advanced, synchronized choreo. SHINee was the group that pushed Kpop to step-up their choreos. The dance practice for this choreo also created the whole dance practice trend. They actually may not be lip-syncing here. In the early days, SHINee were horrible at one thing only -- lip syncing. To the point where they would actually sing live during MV shoots, much like their live concerts which were recorded onto DVDs (which you can still get). During one particularly BAD mishap with lip-syncing during a live performance early in their career, SHINee vowed to never lip-sync during live performances again. I'm sure, by now, they are all pros at lip-syncing, but they still sing live about 90% of the time during concerts/show performances. To this day, you can tell when Taemin lip-syncs during a live performance because he just plain stops moving his lips....lol....and lets the backing track do the job for him during intense choreo sections. It also adds drama to the performance. He will suddenly stop singing, stare intensely into the cameras and then pick it up again. Usually this is during a chorus or when his vocals are layered. It also provides him with some respite for his lungs while dancing. Taemin is all about conserving energy during 3+ hour long concerts.

Thinking about which SHINee videos are probably the most intriguing from a film making perspective and I have to say probably Married to the Music, Everybody or Dream Girl.

Yep still watch it and has nothing to do with technology. I know it is important, but as I always say...I don't care and don't change a thing about any video the boys have done in the past or it wouldn't be a Shinee video!!!

I guess the splash of color for Taemin is because he's the main dancer. I noticed he wasn't rocking the metallic looking clothing. You should see the more recent live performances of this and other songs. Obviously SHINee is a tight, bonded performance group. Apparently, once again, this video and choreo changed the industry. Oh also, I forgot to say, if you wanna see just some bts clips from some of their mv shoots, watch the colorful mv. You don't need to react to it as the new footage is basically just shinee decorating a Christmas tree, but it has a lot of clips in it with bts shots, especially from their mv shoots.

I chuckle a little when you said they lipsync well. You're probably talking about the editing, the editor matches their lips perfectly. Which I agree. I chuckled coz Shinee themselves hate lipsyncing on stage. They are bad at it. I suspect they actually sing during their MV recording to emote the visuals better.

Ok, it's me again, I've watched almost all your SHINee related vids, including SuperM's 😂 SHINee is such an amazing group, their team do an amazing job as well! I would like to see your reaction to "Married to the music", both MV and performance version (because of the camera work), "Good Evening", 2018's first MV of their trilogy "The Story of Light", and specially "I want you", the second part of TSOL, I'm curious about your reaction to its effects 😆 Ohhh! "Everybody" would be great too! and of course SHINee World (SHAWOL, fandom name)'s anthem, "Replay", their debut song! 💓

I listen to Lucifer sometimes, I like the vocals. I have a recommenddation Jonghyun - shinin(he was in SHINEE before but he died) so it will be nice to do a review to his song Shinin it was last song very nice lyrics and positive.
