FSX...very intensive CPU sim, it literally eats my pc, no gpu utilization at all lol, giving me 20 fps (with most beautiful aircraft addons) If u see fsx, dont expect high fps, even if its 15 years old, hits hard on any high end pc.

Its based on old architecture, 32 bits, fsx came out in 2006, meaning that only single core cpu s existed, even when sp2 was released, the same engine was used but not fixed cuz the project was abandoned. Fsx SE its almost the same, just with added UIAutomationCore improvement, better VAS utilisation and .cfg file tweaks added in the game engine. Its the same old fsx but with tweaks, even a Threadripper has the same performance runnin that sim compared to a normal quad core i7 for example. It uses one cpu core and shares 2 threads in a continous loop, maximum 4GB of ram of usage (as its a 32 bit based) Higher cpu single core rating with higher frequency (above 4GHz) will mean 20fps guaranteed in the most intensive situation.

My r5 5600h struglles a lot, considering its performance, but Im running eye candy addons, so its quite normal. But in the end, it manages to give 20fps+ while parked at the gate out in Dubai (payware photoreal) all settings maxed out, PMDG 777 used. After departure fps are increasing, obtaining constant 60fps at cruise level
