@Steve Robertson Adam has said they really really don't like each other personally and they can't stand being around each other when not working. Working on the other hand he said he has never had a better co-worker. He could point at something or Jamie point and without a word they both know what the other meant. Adam could be building something and Jamie just grab a tool and start fixing the other side exactly how Adam was going to do it. Jamie talked about an episode they are under water in scuba gear and neither can talk. Adam saw a potential safety hazard and pointed and Jamie gave a thumbs up. No talking but always on the same page. Just when things like food, tv, films, books, cars, clothes or any life topics came up they are always the opposite and never could find a common ground that didn't require a wrench or hammer.

Everyone always asks about Jamie and Adam being friends outside of work. I would like them to watch this video. This is Jamie and Adam. This is how they get along and their attitude towards each other. They have fun together but have no interest in being life-long friends. That's how I interact with 99% of the people I work with. I don't take them out to dinner. Edit: Jamie
@solomale21564 жыл бұрын
that's a shame. Why would you intentionally avoid being friends with your co-workers
@staticklingon21824 жыл бұрын
@@solomale2156 Well in my case it's just because we don't share interests outside of work and most of us have kids and stay busy. I know that doesn't compare to Jamie and Adam on a TV show but I can relate to the fact that I don't call my co-workers up and ask them to come hang out. I have quite a few other close friends I've known for 10+ years. Edit: Jamie

It's so amazing how Adam and Jamie were able to work so well together even though apparently they really don't even like each other. They don't get along well outside of the show. I was really surprised to find that out, because you would never know it from watching them. They were a great team on the show and I thought for sure they were best friends. I guess that really shows how professional they are.
@biteme2634 жыл бұрын
It isn't that they don't "like" each other, and niether of them has ever said that. Adam was already working for Jamie when the show started. You don't work with someone for that many years if you don't like them. They just are not best buds that hang out together in their off time like everyone thinks they do. Neither do Penn and Teller. That doesn't mean they don't love and respect each other. They just spend enough time together as it is while working.
@tek5124 жыл бұрын
@@biteme263 Incorrect. Adam and Jamie have absolutely openly expressed distaste for one another. They grated *heavily* on one another. That said, they were mature enough to inform one another when annoyance levels were rising, deal with the issue, build a bridge, and get the fuck over it so they could do the job. Both have displayed a complete lack of any desire to ever reunite for any reason, work or otherwise. Their few encounters with one another at conventions have been kept purely professional; contact always began and ended on stage. Any communication between the two done off stage was carried out through their assistants. Incidentally, Penn and Teller *are* friends. They simply don't socialize much outside of work due to not having any interests that align other than magic. That said, both consider each other to be their respective best friends, with Penn's children even considering Teller to be a close relative. They've based their relationship on mutual respect rather than affection, meaning any disagreements they do have are able to be handled quickly and efficiently. This, according to Teller, has allowed them to use any disagreements they have had to improve their act by fielding new ideas and expanding the range of discussions had.

I show that I'm a Christian, a conservative, and I listen to rock. Those reasons and just any one reason alone is a reason that youtube wants to try to keep my from making money. I didn't join youtube for a job but for something to do. A little money here and there for taking time out of my day to entertain other people would be nice but I'm not complaining. However due to the fact that I'm not a liberal that makes youtube not wanna advertise on my content. Not only is that biased but it's also discrimination. I get that everyone has their own political views but that doesn't mean you have to discriminate against people with diffent views. Most people are blind and oblivious to this and jump on people like me who wanna spread the truth. But put yourself in our position then you'll realise we're not complaining. Did the online boards really get mad at them for not doing flat tire stuff that people can do themselves? Wtf.

Theres shows that came after Mythbusters, but none will ever beat the original, Adam and Jaime were great together, I miss them.

Watching the Myth busters we always thought that they were having way too much fun with the process and the execution of the myths.

it was the algorithm decided to show us the clip from the show and then linked us to them talking about it. KZbin's algorithm is such fucking luck atm and it's messing with people's lives. They'll face problems like uber and deliveroo soon
@DONK80087 жыл бұрын
Likely because of the recent H3H3 lawsuit coming to an end caused this one to get bumped up because of the sudden interest from a few million people.

Messing with peoples lives? What?

NeOn say you're a KZbinr that relys upon KZbin for money and you get ill for a fortnight and can't upload. You get no sick pay and when you get back the algorithm won't show your videos to any of your old subscribers and you essentially have to start again. Take tobuscus for example with 6 million subs but now fewer than 100k views per video after he had to deal with depression after a fake rape allegation

stuffed grass into a bike Tyre when i was a kid, it worked great :) also tied off a puncture with my shoe lace, also worked great, stuffed a second Tyre inside another that was bald and worn through to the inner treads, just cut the steel bands off and good to go. when ya young and haven't got the money to repair your bike you become pretty inventive :)
