As a black entrepreneur born from a family that started businesses in the 1930's I believe the BEE system should be abolished my grandparents were successful before 1994 because of hard work even against the apartheid system, secondly big government should be cut, thirdly most markets need to be unbundled in order to increase economic activity of new technologies like blockchain and township farming industries should be invested but however this is difficult to achieve without political will or society taking responsibility for their destiny many black people vote with their stomachs rather than logical issues at hand and many whites vote with their prejudice. I like how dawie unpacks his plan but it's not always about thought but the complex diverse human experience we endure in South Africa that influences societies actions.

Great presentation particularly the depth of understanding of the nature of he concept of a country which is essentially and abstract concept rather than a real material. I feel the lack of understanding of that very fact is the reason that people come to believe that governments have acquired some god like ability to do things that natural people do not have the ability to do. It's essentially the mistaken belief that such abstract concepts of a State and other abstract concepts such as a legal monopoly can e multiply such abstracts to create more wealth when their policies can not. We see these in the IMF and Reserve bank activities where their economists promote monetary and fiscal policies that cause instability. We also see that on a micro level where fiddling tax bonuses and providing incentives that are targeting certain industries that are perceived as more important than others without a proper examination of the facts.

The ANC has been aligned closely to the USSR when the Politburo in 1928, after approaches by the ANC first in 1921, finally agreed to provide material and moral support to the ANC in their struggle. It suited the Soviets and sometimes their surrogates, to support numerous 'liberation struggles' across the world as their aim was to disrupt western colonialist nations by fomenting revolution in Asia and Africa. The ANC when it was beginning to see it's way to power becoming clearer in the mid-late 1980s adopted the face of "liberalism" merely as a tactic to gain support from the likes of the Scandinavian countries, the UN etc. and tyo position themselves as the 'true voice of the people of SA' . This was a subterfuge taken straight from the Communist playbook! TO THIS DAY the underlying Communist totalitarian ideology of the ANC remains - it is to follow the example of the USSR by instituting absolute control over every institution and aspect of society and of the lives of individuals - as was the case in the USSR for 70 years! Unless the elections of April 2019 see the power of the ANC significantly reduced by a surge of voting for moderate political opposition, SA is on the path to final catastrophe within 3 - 5 years at best!

James Michener in his book about South Africa, The Covenant, in 1979, foretold that what is happening in South Africa was one of the most probable scenario. He also predicted that it could mirror what may happen in the United States. In that sense, Trump has basically eliminated that scenario. It is a shame that whites now have no option but secession.
