Yep, Prince was known to spread Love AND shade! & if you're gonna be an audio engineer for THAT man's concert, you better stay on 👏your 👏toes! 👏 And he was calling them out by name. 😬🫣🫢 He was OK with the lights- he said they're "beautiful." But he was NOT having it with the sound. & it is understandable. When the gift you're presenting is meant to be heard, you want it to sound right! This concert was in March of 2009. A few months later in July, Prince brought this same band, plus Morris Hayes, to the Montreux Jazz festival in Switzerland, where they did several songs from this same set list. (2009 Montreux is the concert when he was in the red suit. You've already reacted to some clips from those shows.) It says a lot when an artist can use a great concert as a warm-up for another great concert! Go ahead & do the Patreon things! 👍 Stay blessed! 🤗💜

Would definitely support a Prince Patreon for you! That would be soooo much fun! There is no shade more fun than Prince shade (as long as it isn’t directed at you, of course) 🤣🤣🤣 He had the crowd chanting the name of the ownership. Too funny. You can hear the buzzing when he’s talking without the music playing. Also, I’ve seen Alicia Keys talk about him telling her the sound was awful at one of her shows and how to fix it. I’m so glad you found this show. Special guest is coming up!!!
