NMS is the only game where they can hype up an update, and the update actually ends up better than the hype XD, I love it.

I've reviewed ALOT of the patches and they have all delivered ! this and Worlds 1 were mind blowing however ! appreciate comment

NMS has been the most enjoyable decade-long early access project. If this is the final final product, the next title looks like it has a great foundation. I haven't been on since Starfield launch, so I'll have to try and find some time and get out there and explore this galaxy again. Great overview and review Coop.

I remember playing this at launch and even though it wasn't quite everything that was promised I still had a blast and knew it was something special. After all these years the developers have been updating and making the game they always wanted for us. Mad respect for the developers. The game is so chill, and you can get lost in exploration. Game on gamers. Be good to each other out there.

In case you missed it - For the collectors- Now the "gun" multi-tool racks base part can store 18 of them. And on your freighter at the squadron panel you can store 18 ships.

Finally, a good overview with new footage! I actually think they need to lean less into content and more into immersion. Being struck by the surroundings and just "doing nothing" is easily the biggest draw. Yet it seems most players really do just prefer to soak up the content. I always thought bringing depth to the mechanics, than making more of them, is the way to go. Luckily the modding scene fills that role very well; just a shame that most gamers prefer progress to immersion

I love NMS for exploration, base building, and chilling. When i'm in the mood for some space action - WARFRAME - also a game I think 10yrs old and developers still supporting it with new stuff. it's Free to play even!

I'm so glad I haven't completed any missions past the anomaly being unlocked and never even gotten a freighter, because I can experience the rest of gameplay in its current state compared the it's state of release. As far as I can tell, there is so much game I haven't experienced , it feels like a completely new game

It's quite satisfying to progress but it's really grindy also. A tip I was given (after 50 hours) was that you can set difficultly specifically. I'd never even looked at it after starring on normal. But you can just set prices to free and but whatever you want.

Been here since 2017. It's a superb update. Having a blast with it. But, while I played over 2200 hours and I love it to bits I do have to admit that I still crave for another dimension that this game still lacks: Purpose. I get that it's a chill game, but we have a zillion planets but zero (real) incentive to visit them. You can add a million bits and bobs, but there needs to be more interaction between you and those bits and bobs. Take the (Awesome) animation series Scavenger's reign. There is real danger there, on that planet. And there is a delicate balance between the all elements in nature. Put that in NMS. Make things matter more. Right now it still feels like a wide range of patterns repeated over and over again. The variation is superb, but it matters so little. And then there are the races of aliens in the game. Make them inhabit the planets more, give them more depth and stories. There is SO much potential there and (imo) not beyond the scope of this game. I hope that this is still something they will add to the game as well.
