I think it’ll mainly shine in trials, when you’re getting full sent by a team if you get a headshot kill the guy behind him will get hurt enough for you to clean it up.

As a chaperone player I love this thing, when you have it fully upgraded wallah you can have it at 90 range and it’s way more consistent. Sometimes body shots one shot if the people are near walls so take that as you will, it’s cool when it happens in 6’s but I don’t really rely on it in 3’s. On the comp map cirrus plaza I was chaining the truesight on my Titan and just sliding and doming people it’s really strong once it gets rolling, but so is trini ghoul with dunemarchers lol

Upgrade it and then play with either no backup plans on titan or a radiant build and it will 1 shot body 10m.

Honestly this is way more of a PVP shotgun than PVE imo. The catalyst and Overload options just makes it more usable for PVE.

I think they need to fix it to where it splits only once it hits a surface but is a slug all the way up to that point, it seems like a very tight spread shotgun that just can’t one shot consistently, ehhhh

Alright, here's my very goofy and probably highly impractical combo: Slayer's Fang + Cascade Point Kinetic Slot Scout. Get a kill with the exotic, then use the wallhacks to find an enemy to target with the cascade point scout.

Chaperone just like Heritage have so much aim assist it feels like they have in built opening shot. That's why i always said Heritage is top 3 slugs. Thing has 78 aim assist casually and 99 range and yes aim assist is EVERYTHING in this game with how the guns are coded.@@poggersplayer69

People saying wallhacks on a shotgun is insanity. Remember when Nightstalker used to get wallhacks for 10 seconds for getting a headshot while crouching without cooldown... Man I don't miss that.

I agree, I'm loving the Legato and this won't replace it in my loadout. Closing time is just too good. It's got way more handling than this plus multipliers. Mine has killing wind and that boosts damage falloff beyond closing time. I really want lone wolf/closing time roll though. The tonics haven't been giving me many Legato's.

@ no no listen I have over 4k with a 5/5 inquisitor adept and I never used chappy cuz the handling animation sucks and throws me off but whatever Ive used many slugs NONE come close to what u can do with this legato. Have u tryed a 5/5 lone wolf closing? Im telling u it makes inquistor feel like a blue or green compared to a 5/5 legato. I didnt think it was gonna be THAT much faster or THAT much more aim assist/bullet bend oh how my a$$ was WRONG. 😂 😂

@ wow I’m speechless. Also heritage’s sight makes me miss cuz its so fat 😂 I’m on ps5 too so idk if ur on m&k or not idk if that makes these feel different. All Im saying is the raw speed and crit shots Ive hit with my legato compared my inquisitor is night and day and my inquistor has 100 handling at all times like the scalars from closing actually feels like the swap speed thats meant to be for ACTUALLY quick reacting. Its so much faster than inquisitor I’m just shocked Ud pick it over alll that juice legato has 😂 I will say tho the ONE thing Inquisitor will always have over other slugs is that sweet sweet sight. Nice and open, simple red dot mm mmm best slug sight to date hands down.
