How you doing so much damage compared to other people doing DLC videos? Did you pick every scadutree fragment?
@Sticky2233 ай бұрын
kinda? I did all of these at 14 blessings which is pretty good, you don't get much more out of the later levels after the patch because they changed the scaling curve. this isn't my first run through the DLC so I was able to just run around the map and collect fragments before fighting anything which is something I would recommend if you are struggling with the DLC as most fragments are accessible without fighting any enemies or bosses. It's also kinda just what I do, I mean have you seen my other clips? big numbers are kinda my specialty and I have been playing this game since release with nearly 1500 hours played so I do know my stuff this isn't even nearly as high as it could be if I really tried. hope this helps and good luck on your adventures, tarnished.

Huh? In what regard did they nerf it? Still good Frostbite application, still great magic damage, still amazing charged Heavy that WORKS with two-handed sword Talisman and Godfrey's Icon, as well as Shard of Alexander and Magic Scorpion Charm.

They nerfed poise damage

@@Ghost_edits387 a slight nerf, cuz I still break bosses with 3-5 Jumping Heavy 2H hits.

@@TheDoomsdayzoner yea I think it was just the projectile attacks got nerfed but it’s still a top 5 weapon in game

I think I have almost the exact build but what armour do you use

Carian Knight Armor. You get it at Raya Lucaria in a pretty well hidden spot.

Is this your favorite build? Or maybe there is one that you like better in the DLC? I'm thinking of putting together such a build, but I doubt whether this is the best solution. I like the mechanics.

it's a blast I do really enjoy it so if it looks fun to you by all means that's the most important thing you can tone it up or down in many ways and adjust it to your preference. objectively, it used to be one of the strongest in the game it was absolutely disgusting before 1.12 which you can see on my older non-dlc clips that used it and that wasn't even as optimized as it can be you can squeeze a lot more out of it as I talked about in another comment which I might showcase later. but after 1.12 multiple things I used for it got nerfed; namely the dmgs itself got nerfed -as the title suggests- but also the jellyfish shield got nerfed and terra magica got nerfed so all of those combined it did take a hit but as you can see it's still quite powerful so don't let any of that discourage you if you think it's fun you can certainly bully the whole game with it just a little less now than before is all. since you asked, my all time favorite would have to go to strength-faith builds with more focus on faith, despite not being something I showcased much here it is in my opinion the strongest, most versatile build with the best selection of weapons in the whole game and easy access to all the best buffs and some really powerful incantations, I might be biased because it was my first build back when the game released but it has only gotten better with time so I will try to showcase it in some clips at some point here aswell. in terms of DLC equipment and spells a lot of it seems very undertuned with the few broken exceptions most of which already got patched, but they seem to be way more careful with DLC balancing. I played around with the backhand blades and milady quite a bit on my dex build and they are very fun and pretty powerful but overall nothing crazy, the new blacksteel great hammer which you can acquire very early on is kinda insane having as much physical AR as the best great hammers in the base game with a ~100 holy AR on top for free and a unique guard counter not to mention that it lends itself extremely well to sacred and even flame art infusions because of that bit of holy AR and faith scaling so if you like big bonk sticks I would suggest looking there. but yeah anyway hope this helps, sorry for nerding out here, this became way longer than initially planned haha besta luck with it, have fun.

What your build

here: imgur.com/qStLGcT if you would prefer more damage over stance damage in a certain fight replace stonebarb tear with blood sucking tear(which you see me use in the second and third fights) in that case you should replace ritual sword talisman aswell, the new blade of mercy is a good option if you get stance breaks earlier in the fight, axe talisman is not bad if you are hitting with the weapon part of the skill, or if you are not doing hitless you can use something defensive which would help alot. this isn't the most optimized it can be in terms of damage either, if you want even more damage use the Rakshasa or spellblade armor sets for an additional 8% damage at no cost, what am using offers nothing other than looking cool. you can spec some points into faith(take from vigor if you are doing hitless) and use howl of shabriri which is a massive 25% additional damage that also stacks with everything else you saw me use and if you are at that much faith use the spell version of golden vow instead of the consumable or ash of war. to cast any unupgraded seal would do the job these buffs don't scale, your buff routine will only be 2 seconds longer and hardly any more complex so don't be intimidated to try. hope this helps, best of luck in the land of shadow fellow tarnished.

@@Sticky223 How does shield and staff work together? Do you need just equip stuff to take his passive effect and then you can free to use shield?
@Sticky2233 ай бұрын
@@loneqd you need the shield in your left hand, cast its skill and you get a free 15% damage(used to be 20%) that lasts ~30 seconds and is very fast to reapply, I didnt use the staff in any of those clips because I mostly use it for exploring but the way it works is the same just use the staff in your right hand and shield in the left and you will get the buff. the buff from jellyfish shield is equal to or better than all the buffs you can get from staffs for certain magic classes and works on all damage so its a good choice, not to mention you also get to have a shield so you can block and guard counter with it if you want.
