Taking a break from the extensions and showing your hair & scalp some love is a really good idea! 😊 The pull of them and scrape back buns causes hairline receding and traction alopecia, the random sparse bits when you pull your hair back and the scalp is really visible. I agree with Steve that your natural hair is much better! Short hair can be sooooo chic ❤

Your hair looks gorgeous! It really, really suits you. I had mine very dark brown for a number of years. I stripped the colour a while back, and went a lighter brown. It's pretty much my natural colour, so I'm going to let the colour grow out as much as possible and go a couple of shades lighter again.
