It’s amazing you guys walked away from this. We had a head on in a van. We spent ten weeks in hospital and my hubby has had many surgeries and we will never be fully recovered even after nine and half years. So please rejoice you on your outcome.

Thank god you’re both still here. The van is just metal at the end of the day and can be replaced. Sod’s Law that you’d just filled up with gas and shopping. How terrifying for you all. I’m so sorry this has happened, but so glad you are here and will recover. I remember picking my partner up from the ambulance after a head on collision. The van was written off, but miraculously he walked away & that was devastating enough. The other driver had been driving erratically & had an age related illness. It was a miracle we walked out of that Nobby. We are planning on getting another van as long as the insurance doesn't go through the roof as a result of this smash.

Hi Judy. Phew, how long it has taken me to answer all the comments, sorry i'm so late. We are on the mend again, and truly are black and blue with bruises, but so thankful we have been spared. Were doing plenty of contemplating, but that's as far as we have got.

Oh my lord Trevor & Pat what a terrible thing to happen, so glad no serious injuries to either of you thats most important thing, your lovely van what a shame, all the money you paid for cambelt to be done, hope you well covered with insurance, did the van have airbags cos you was very lucky to escape that kind of accident, all the best to you both ❤

I know Irene, I darn't think of the money it has cost me. The van was insured, only renewed the policy in May, and that cost us too. The airbags didn't go off, Pat says she is glad they didn't. I should be dead by rights, but it seems it was not my time.

Oh David thank you. We were so sorry when we remembered your lovely gift all scattered over the van, not that i saw owt, I was out of it. We are slowly getting better, but it must have shaken us about because I am covered in bruises and Pat has aches and pains popping up every day. Sorry it has taken me so long to answer this but we have never had so many messages before.
