POV: your walking around the ruins of a major city decades after the world has been engulfed by nuclear war and humanity was for all intents and purposes destroyed. You’ve been wandering the wastes alone for years now after you had to leave the bunker you grew up in and have not seen another soul sense leaving other than the occasional created from the radioactive fallout. That was of course until you hear an old-timey radio start to play music not too far off in the distance. You turn a corner to investigate where exactly the music is coming from. As you walk down the street you find that the music is coming from inside a fairly intact ( at least compared to the other buildings around ) antique shop. As you step inside you’re immediately attacked and pinned to the ground by another person who mistook you for one of the mutated creatures. As you both struggle against each other for a moment the two of you come to realize that you weren’t being attacked/attacking a mutant but in fact another person the stranger gets off from atop you and then after you take a second to sit up they hug you. The two of you just sits there in complete silence embracing until the two of you both slowly start sobbing because it’s been so long since either one of you has had actual human contact, and with there help maybe, just maybe humanity can overcome.
