Didn’t have a good magnezone so i tried it with alolan golem (regular) and did surprisingly well! Also, it is weak to water but covers the heavy weakness to fire types a little better. And plus you have Tropius and Golem to cover water types anyways.

I was running Emolga lead with Annihilape and Shadow Gligar in the back but I saw this team like 3 times in one set so I had to swap to the Ape in the lead. I also so two or three Dewgong leads but I really like Emolga in the lead cuz it isn’t bad into most the other common leads.

I've been running non shadow magnezone for a similar team (Magnezone/wigglytuff/SVictreebell) and it works just as well. Sure, there's moments where that extra bit of damage on wild charge can prove helpful, but there's also a lot of moments the non shadow proves it's worth. I've had a lot of games where my high ranked normal magnezone survives at 1hp and wins the game for me.
