@@miah5561 Yep, the whole reason why Goku decided to leave the Earth to Gohan and the rest of the Z Fighters if anything happened is because he knew that Gohan could handle it, especially if he kept training like he was supposed to. He never expected Gohan to stop training. He like pretty much everyone else was ok with him deciding to stop fighting, but not ok with him deciding to stop training.

The inconsistencies in the animation aren't JUST because of the movies, although the difference in budget played a huge part. The other reason is that they had from 8 to 25 different animation supervisors depending on the season, and none ever got to do even 2 episodes in a row.
