Surprisingly, this engine holds up to a lot of loot in front of the player and rendered in distance. I was farming monolith in a building that would respawn after sleeping but their guns wouldn’t after I had picked them up and drop them to see their condition. If I didn’t leave the area for a while, the weapons would not despawn, I had so many guns on the ground and I swear the frame rate didn’t take a hit at all. They didn’t disappear until I had turned my game off.

Tbh I'm surprised how good it runs. I'm playing it on a laptop. Asus a16. High settings with a few adjustments. And I get usually 50-60 fps.

@2BFabrications It runs okay in open fields with nothing happening. As soon as the game needs to handle more than like 5 NPCs it shits itself. I can literally always tell the exact moment the game spawns NPCs because of the slowdown it always causes. I have a 5800X3D and 7800XT which should be able to handle this game just fine. Out in the open fields I get 100+ frames on medium settings but every settlement brings it down to 30, with dips even below that, while my GPU and CPU sit at 50% utilization. The optimization is basically non-existent
