Yeah same, it was free when it first came out so you’d see so many people online playing, now you only get like 5 actual players per lobby and the matches kinda get repetitive overtime

I honestly am pissed off about Sony not caring about DAS anymore. Really had potential. But what really annoys me is that later they added only one new character. And also, what I think: Overwatch + Destruction Derby = This

Yeah they really had something going at the start and then they just… stopped caring I guess, also they barely focused on community concerns and made a lot of questionable changes to the game which ruined it for a lot of players (including me lol)

Tbh Twisted Metal should’ve just had like a new singleplayer / multiplayer game for the PS5, but new IP’s are still cool to get so DAS seemed pretty interesting for being the next original PlayStation title

They had a playstation leak 6 months ago showing all the upcoming playstation games in the future and it was pretty legit. The game studio who made this game is working on a combat car game as project death star. Possibly could be Twisted Metal since they came out with a tv show and ps1 classic on premium

I can never find matches, like.. Ever, maybe it's my timezone. But then it's worldwide servers now so I don't know. But I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this game at this point because the developers (and player base for that matter) have totally abandoned the game at this point

Yeah true, there’s some discussion on their discord server but most of the time we just complain about the game or talk about some other game, almost all of us lost hope at this point 😂

FtP wouldn't do anything for this game. It was dead on arrival, even with a bigger console install base, people wouldn't care about a game that fell off within the month.

True, I just think with the game already having paid cosmetics and storymode stuff that they might aswell make it free since we’re paying $20 for the base game alone, also the games playerbase was pretty big back when it first came out on PS Plus so it would’ve been smart to keep it free

Keep it and bring it back to ps plus lmao what the hell? GamePass Core has games included + online access. Bring it to essential as games like it have simple lifespans it would do well as a gift to ps users and will always have potential players. That or just rot for all of time, it just makes sense. It’ll be a shame if they don’t do anything with Destruction Allstars soon. The gameplay looked fun and I want to see more of these quirky and stylish characters, to know more about them, how they joined this event to begin with. Like you said, there’s a lot of potential and attention to detail.

Yeah i like the characters they should add like a parkour mode or something for like on foot combat extreme tag or something some of the characters had people that were in game lore like mentioned they could have them as DLC the game has alot of potential as a fun free to play arena wars type game

It’s exclusive to PS5 and it’s both single player and multiplayer, but the multiplayer is almost a ghost town since the lobbies are usually full of bots

I see it clearly. The mega multiplayers absorb ones like these dry. To counter, prioritize online games on subscription it only makes sense. You're already paying 60-80 for access to something you already bought so include these online games in essential or something. Better than just rotting with no use Why da hail this 39.99 on the store for add on content, make all that 39.99 and charge me 0 for the game itself. Don't tell me otherwise. Rocket League went free so can this and everyone else. Because what happens is a mfs gonna see the pricepoint and say "I aint wasrting my money, game worst than cod fornite apex" (obviosuly), games don't get bought, dies, gets hall of famed as irrelevant game no cared about when that's not the case. It just got outclassed In the end fortnite and ones like it will absorb the life from these games because while their living with their select budgets, megas like fortnite and cod who can take on a free entry aren't concerned about their money amounts. They'll always have dough to throw, these ones won't. Whose gonna drop 39.99 or anything when we've been conditioned with these free games. Free clickers, free mobiles, free gachas, free games. What's you and your 39.99 gonna do for me, fortnite cost nothing and can ensure it will be there a year from now. Genshin will be there a year from now. roblox will be there a year from now, but you? 😂, the hail is you?

That’s the thing, Fortnite was the F2P game that redefined the entire genre so now every game is trying to take inspiration with battle passes and paid skins and it’s hard to support everyone at once, also Destruction Allstars came out when the PS5 first launched, so it was kinda doomed from the start since no one had the console yet

There’s an arcade mode where you can play some modes against bots, and then there’s some storymodes where you play certain modes against bots and try beating objectives in them

This game could’ve been Modnation Racers 2 but they had to make a simply terrible product that will be forgotten in the grand scope of gaming history.

I think generally Destruction Allstars was setting itself up for failure since the start, releasing a multiplayer game exclusive to a console barely anyone had yet was crazy, and not to mention the devs made some questionable updates throughout its lifecycle which ruined the gameplay more and more
