Typical twitch chat, I'm not even surprised. I'll never understand people that gatekeep games like this by forcing you to play the way they play. "magic is broken wuah wuah" "you should use this magic sword spell" "don't use summons" Like, it's a singleplayer game and you can do whatever the fuck you want that's why the items are there, YOU choose how to play. Fuck.. it pisses me off so much when it shouldn't.. It's also the reason why I stopped using twitch overall and now just watch vods from the people I like yet I can't get away from chat. (it's not that deep.. Why do I even care..)

It's like they don't understand anything he says. Let the man cook, let the man play how he wants to play, and if he asks for certain tips or directions, then give your input. Hey Side, loving the VODs. just a thought for your setup, you could buy Rennala's hat for the 4 intelligence boost, you can get it from the remembrance gear lady in the roundtable. Help you get some of the required stats for the sorceries. Also you can get the Sword Sorcery so you can use your staff as a sword, if close to enemies the mimic will use the sword to fight them instead of long casting sorceries, like this you won't have to use it but your summon will have some close combat capability.

On one hand it's sad to see all the cool spells and Ashes of War side is missing, but on the other hand, it's so funny hearing him say "sounds too melee" knowing he's dead wrong about half of them and he's just limiting his resources lol there's just so much he doesn't know and chat is giving him clues about the game like the item descriptions give us the lore. No hate tho, these VODs have been a delight to watch

Can someone please tell him to get Moonveil, even if it’s melee weapon you don’t have to use the melee just use the skill it shoots magic projectile, it’s the most op magic weapon/spell. Even if the mimic uses it it’s still op trust me. Love the vids btw.

@@SideArms4Reason it shoots like a laser beam kinda, you dont charge it but it shoots the beam vertically or horizontally depending on you whether you press the RT or RB, it’s really cool.

Yeah you just use its skill and itll shoot a magic slash beam attack. can use it like he said horizontally for trash mobs or vertically for single target. and it scales off of your intelligence so you dont need to pump any other stat for it. its a >magic< weapon that also causes bleed buildup which is really good in elden. you get it from the magma wyrm from Gael tunnel which you already have access to rn. 10/10 anime boss weapon
