There is no "ranked", it's all up to apex's algorythm. If SBMM determines you're masters level, your silver ass will be playing vs pred/masters. Wonder what a "real" silver or gold rank match looks like now.

You have to understand that everyone resets to rookie at the start of the season, so if they're a pred player from last season but haven't played at all this season, they'll still be in rookie. So seeing someone with a pred badge doesn't necessarily mean they're currently higher ranked than you

My friend who has been ranking masters every season. All the way since the beginning, he has ranked masters. It usually takes him around 250 - 300 ranked games to do it. This season he has played 926 ranked games and is still diamond. Literally playing the first half of the game in ranked is pointless in season 18.

Crazy how hard it is to rank this season, last 2 season 15 and 16 i was able to hit Diamond and went ont Hiatus, rn it is very hard to get into Silver rank! You either get a team that lands hotdrops and misses all shots or you encounter a team stacked of masters / diamond and ur teammate does not know what to do. This season is a nightmare.

And now, silver and gold is like we are in high diamond low masters and have even run into top 500s my kd for ranked is below 1 this season and still fighting gods in the game. The rank "badges/icons" are just there for a visual purpose to make you feel "better" 😄If you as a silver/gold have a friend on diamond right now, you can't que together and play coz your "ranks" are too far from eachothers, but if you que at the same time you most likely will end up in the same game. Nah plat is always the hardest soloq rank for me. Once i get diamond i get to masters alot faster. Plat players got the biggest egos who love to fight while struggling to get even 1 knock. Diamond players are still bots but play more passive and dnt go down as often

The truth still stands that plat and below players like to hot drop do nothing and die. Diamond players play for zone which makes it easier to climb. If you havent noticed it then you must have never soloq'd to masters and trust me when i say even though im good i'm not him. never in my life have i experienced such a shit ranked system. And I played basically every game with such gamemodes. I was a Rainbow 6 main and i thought the ranked system in this game was shit. But then I reinstalled apex a few days ago. From the beginning on not a single match which was playable and I queued with my decent friends, were all sth. between plat and dia. And we really tried xD. But even then you get no points, everything stacks in the mid to lategame and you get surrounded from 8 differnet squads. Basically every lobby has 5 preds and 10 masters in fking rookie elo. Thats bacause players like that even need 100 games to reach silver rank so the whole playerbase is stuck together. Just bring back Placement matches and let us enjoy the game with balanced lobbies....😭

The problem is that there is another mmr system within ranked, so if your previous season rank was high, you'll be placed with other bronze silver gold etc players with previous high season ranks, its very stupid how its setup. Titanfall 3 when Respawn!!!

This is purely shit. I played every season, and try hard for diam solo queue. Last season I hit master (ofc). Now I m stuck silver, -50 kp top 13 what a joke, and kill don’t get me point .. in season 16, plat1 was -41 top 13 and it was difficult for me to get diam. Now it s -50 in silver ? And every master are in the same lobby. Like if I have to do 1 top 1 every 3 games. It s the first time I don’t play rank this season, I won’t be able to reach diam for sure as solo player

Its not just the insane skill difference but for some reason you lose 50 LP on ROOKIE unless you get to top 10? getting a ton of kills grants you a negligent ammount of lp too so insanely good players dont even get out as fast as they should and youre stuck with 40 kill trios every 2 matches
